it was a brand new refreshing day for everyone. Snow was walking down the street, passing by shops and markets. sometimes she would stop at any of them to get whatever she needed. her hand was filled with plastic bags that had vegetables and food inside of them. as she exited one of the supermarkets she was in, she took a long, deep breath and shut her eyes to smell the fresh air, then let the air out. "today is going so well." she told herself while looking around her to face the people that were roaming around as well. everyone had a different expression on, talked about different types of stories. the more she looked around the wider the smile on her face stretched. she was simply a positive person who loved to see the outside world too much and enjoyed seeing everyone happy and well.

she continued walking forth. her obsidian silky hair swayed around as the wind hit it. her pink dress danced all over and her plastic bags were making a sound as they hit each other. through the whole journey, a smile couldn't leave her lips until she heard yells and wails across the street. this was the moment the smile calmed down and her lips were forming a straight line. she slowed her pace the more she got closer to that sound. her heart started beating fast; her hands that were holding tightly into the plastic bags were sweating and shaking. she held her chin up and look in front of her to see people roaming around something. she took steps to it and looked closer to see that it was actually someone that was surrounded by these people. a smoke came out from that place which made Snow panic making her think that there was probably a fire right there. her breathing started to get faster and later on she found herself gasping for air. cold drops of sweat ran down to her chin. the smell of smoke made her choke and tears were willing to come but she tried to stay strong and not falter to whatever was happening.

"I AIN'T LETTING YOU GO, YE THIEF!!" she heard someone yelling from the direction where the howls were coming from. Snow tried to control herself and looked at that direction once again to see the guy who was smoking is holding someone from the collarbone. his expression held so much fury. she widened her eyes as she saw him and started wondering why was he so angry? what in the world happened that caused all of this? she proceeded with caution towards the disaster and could hear his voice loud and clear by now. "M-Mark, listen! I was just. . . looking at it. I never meant to steal it!" the guy that was held captive between his hands tried to clear things up but it only made Mark even madder. "I AINT BUYING THIS. THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME!!" Mark spouted out. his grip got tighter the more he looked at the guy he was holding. when Mark was angry it was better to not get close to him. Snow passed by the group of people that were surrounding the place until she was right next to Mark. her panicking state was still in its worst state but she still wanted to help out. she just couldn't leave this place to fall apart like that. "u-uhhmm. . ." she started fidgeting with her fingers, hoping that the madman right in front of her doesn't shout at her for no reason. "s-sir, he didn't mean it. everything is fine now, so could you please let him go?" she faced the ground immediately while playing with the tip of her sleeves. her eyes were getting teary from getting too anxious. a moment of silence passed by. Mark looked down at the girl that ordered him and put down the guy for a second just to through the cigarette away.

"And who the hell might you be?" he asked while eyeing her making Snow fidget around even more. her knees were hitting each other and her fingers started playing around too much. she almost lost her mind at that point. she tried to look at the guy who just threatened her but she couldn't bring herself too. Snow then decided to just leave. she ran through the many people that were everywhere, trying her best not to get any panic attacks until she's home. when she was out of this place she took a deep breath. tears were falling down to the ground. she started weeping and crying, putting her bags down and holding herself tightly as soft sobs escaped her tiny lips. "hey, you!" a family voice called her, she looked behind her to see none other than Mark himself chasing her. she screamed and started running straight forward. her tears were running down and dropping on her clothes but she didn't mind that by now. Snow started gasping for air, for anything that would help her breath again. her heart was beating too fast that she couldn't even run anymore. she stopped somewhere right by the corner once she felt like no one was following her any longer and leaned against the wall right next to her to support her and began catching up with air. suddenly, she could smell smoke coming right from behind and sound of plastic bags being thrown to the ground. "what made you run like that? you almost forgot your stuff." this voice was not strange to her. she turned around to see Mark standing right behind her. she gasped then fall down due to what just surprised her. her tears formed up again and fell down right away. "geez, kids. . ." he rolled his eyes in return to her actions. "anyways, you seem thirsty, here." he handed her a bottle of water that he left inside one of her bags. "I got it while I was on my way. take it." Snow stretched her hands to take what Mark offered her. as she tried to open the bottle she realized that it was shut tight and she couldn't do it. she struggled to open it until she heard Mark groaning and looked up at him. "Give this dang thing to me." he ordered her and she looked at him for a second while slowly losing the grip to the bottle. "what are you staring at? just give it to me already!" he shouted making her to jump right in her place. her hands stretched back to give him the water bottle. "why are you shaking? I'm not going to murder you or something. . ." he sighed while shaking his head in disappointment. "I. . . know. . ." she murmured. "huh?" he said while huffing out the smoke. she coughed in returned then waved her hand. "ah, sorry. . ." he threw the cigarette away then stepped on it to cool it down. "it's. . . okay. . ."

Mark began to look at her as he was twisting the bottle cap to open it. maybe she wasn't that bad? that was the thought that kept on running through his mind. he immediately shook his head in denial. he didn't want to grow in sort of affection towards her, but something about her was so alluring that he couldn't. his cheeks started heating up as he thought about it. he then sighed and finally opened the bottle and gave it to her. she took it and started drinking until she reached the half of it down then let go of the bottle. "haah. . ." she smiled as the refreshed water ran through her throat. "thank you." she looked up at Mark. a grateful smile could be seen being painted on her lips. Mark looked to the other side, no words came out from his mouth. he then looked back at her and stretched his arm once more. she looked at it then back at him with perplexity. "what?" he asked. "what what?" she asked back. "IM TRYING TO HELP YOU!" he yelled at her. she started giggling then put her palm into his and held it tightly. Mark pulled her until she was standing straight right in front of him. "anything else?" he asked before leaving. Snow was cleaning the back of her clothes then looked at him saying, "No, thank you." he then nodded and walked back to where he came from but then turned around and looked back at Snow. "don't be too clumsy next time." he sarcastically informed her, making Snow chuckle. "Aye aye, captain." Mark smiled at her action then continued walking.

Snow took steps forward to her bags then bent down to lift them up once again. she turned around to face the other direction where she was going and sighed. "I hope I get to see this guy again." she chuckled under her breath as she passed by the street.
