----------time skip 2 years--------

Jacob and I finally moved to LA when we got they're he already passed out from all the alcohol. So I decided to the peer and explore. When I ft they're I heard very familiar voices. When I turned around I almost broke into tears.

-----adins pov-------
The squad and I were just walking on the peer line usually going to take pictures for instagram. Then everyone stopped walking. They're was this girl sitting they're on her knees and it looked like she was gonna cry when she lifted her head I realized it was Brooklyn. I looked at everyone else as they just realized what I have. I looked back at her and she started running I open my arms in acceptance.
-----Brooklyns pov-----
A few hours went by and we all caught up with each other we we're walking to the car and lizzy pulled me aside "why did you not talk to us after graduation" she asked. I then explained everything to her. By the time I finished I was on the verge of tears. " I call sitting next to Brooklyn" adin yells. Adin and I sat in the back while lizzy and lance sat in the front.

We were in the car and I looked over at Brooklyn and I noticed a lot of bruises. It took me a second but then I realized she was still with Jacob. I knew he was abusing her I wrapped my arms around her in a very protective way I was so mad I let this happen to her.

I feel Adin looking at me then I feel him wrap his arms around me. I looked at him and his eyes were watery but he just smiled at me I soon fell asleep in his arms.

She laid her head on my chest and soon fell asleep. Lance pulled up to my apartment when he looked back he asked what we were gonna do with Brooklyn. I said she'd just stay at my place tonight. We said our good byes and I carried her upstairs. I laid her in my bed and went to go sleep on the couch but the something grabbed my hand. "will you stay with me I get scared in the dark" Brooklyn asked. "Of course" I laid down next her and she instantly cuddled up next to me.
