Draw me the moon
And draw me the stars.
Draw me Venus
And draw me Mars.
Draw me a rose
And draw me a lily.
Draw me something sad
And draw me something silly.
Draw me how you see me
And draw me what you feel.
Draw me a sword of smoke
And draw me a cloud of steel.
Draw me polar opposites
And draw me identical twins.
Draw me all your losses
And draw me all your wins.
If I say please
And if I say thank you,
Will you let me
Ask something else of you?
Take a yellow pencil,
A green one, red and blue,
And draw me a happy picture
Of just me and you.
