The Legends of Arida

How Arida's life started:

Arida was born in a place called Avastad. Avastad was not the best place it was not beautiful if anything it would be called a dumpster. Arida's mom had died giving birth to her. And Arida's dad died when she was 3 year's old from a heart attack. Arida was then taken in by a woman named Tayana.

But when she turned 5 her uncle Raidon came and took her away to Red Sea Country. Arida's uncle Raidon was a very bad man. He was a 'busniness' man. (If u don't like this next part skip to the last paragraph) Every time her uncle would come back from a business trip he would beat Arida as if she had done something so very wrong. When Arida had finally turned 10 she couldn't take the beatings any longer, so she snuck into Raidon's study when he was on his next business trip. But Arida knew it was something more then a business trip just like it had always been. Arida took his knife from a desk drawer. That night when Raidon returned and came into her room to beat her, Arida jumped out of bed and stabbed her uncle in the ribs but that wasn't enough after all the pain he had caused her. He deserved to die painfully. So Arida stabbed him again saying "This is what you deserve."

The help came running in after they had heard Raidon yell. He was carried off to the nurse. But all knew he was a lost cause. Some of the help who were treated poorly were happy he would be gone. But the ones who were rich from working for him were not. No one wanted Arida after what a monster her uncle had turned her into. No one except Tayana.

It took A LOT of work for Arida to become the sweet little girl she would have grown up to be if she had been with Tayana her who life. It took a long time for Arida to trust but with Tayana showing her love and kindness everyday she warmed up to her. Arida's dream was to travel the world. She saved up money from selling bread and sometimes fresh fruit if it would grow that year. As she got older she would do chores or farming for the neighbors because it would pay a little more. Although there weren't many. She couldn't wait till she turned 15 and would finally be able to fulfill her dream.
