The Legends of Arida

Part 1⃣ The Next Day:

Finally the sun had come up it was now a beautiful day, nothing like the night before. Arida couldn't wait to get out she grabbed her stuff and headed down to get some breakfast. Bobby the owner had made her oatmeal. "Is it free?" I asked "Yes, I'm sorry" I heard him whisper. "Why are you sorry?" I asked his face immediately turned into a frown as he realized I had heard him. "Well... It all started five years ago," He began. This man named Spike came to town he wanted us to go fight with him to go kill some king. None of us wanted to go, we all had families why would we want to say goodbye to them we might never get to see them again. So those who told him they wouldn't help him he killed. Right in front of the whole town, children were scarred. After seeing what he was capable of none of us said no, he was coming up with a plan for the attack. And we being worried for our lives and the lives our children would have  without a father. When the time to head out was coming up rapidly fast we started our plan. It was August 17th when a few of us men came into my tavern to kill Spike, they came up the stairs with loaded guns. I heard them throw open the door and the shots fired when the men came down I went up the stairs, the door was already swung open as my eyes landed on the almost dead body lying on the floor he said..." Bobby took a second to swallow before continuing. "He made an oath that he would get revenge on us and that whoever stepped in to the room after 3 days had passed he would haunt until he gets his revenge not only on the town but on the king!" Bobby repeated "I'm sorry." What did he think I was cursed or something? "I never thought it was possible but with it being 5 years I thought that with there being no trace of him that he wasn't there but after last night I know I was completely wrong. I'm sorry" He repeated again. This Bobby guy was totally crazy. I grabbed my stuff and walked out the door. Obviously, Bobby had been the one keeping me up, although I'm not sure how. I stopped blank in my tracks when I noticed...
