Hundreds of students sat down to be judged
Based on their looks or what their mind thinks up
Taught to be caring but shown to be rude
You slip up once and it's the end of your world
The never ending remarks of that one time you made a funny sound
Or that time you were all alone at a table for eight
And the time after that
And the endless amount of times you've sat alone
But it wasn't always like that
But as the year goes on your number of friends goes down just like your motivation to stay up
Your head starts to pound from the lack of sleep
And the stress that they make you keep
Because assignment after assignment it all piles up until there's nothing you can do because they worked you till you're dust
The remainings of a match once so bright it could light a room
To a burned down pile of ash swept away by a broom
