I had been quite lonely for a while. Maybe going out with Liam wouldn't be so bad. The next day had came. Date day. I got ready and dressed up. Makeup and hair done, I looked good as hell.

I texted Liam. 'Hey Li, hope we're still on for tonight I'll meet you at Applebee's. See you soon 😘' sent. I got in a taxi and went downtown to Applebee's. I got myself a table for two, Ordered and drink and waited. Hours had went by, no texts no calls, no Liam. The waitress came up to me. "Hey Demi, you've been sitting here a while. Is everything okay?" She asks me. "Yeah, was expecting a friend but you know how crazy it is being a celebrity." I say and laugh. I texted Nick. Maybe he would be around and I could just hang out with him since he'd actually show up. 'Hey nick, I'm at Applebee's I kinda got blown off, hope your around and would want to hang out. Dinners on me just come I feel lame being here alone.' Sent. Shortly minutes later I got a text , 'Yeah dem I'll be there shortly.' Thank god for Nick. He shortly showed up within 20 minutes coming up to the table. I stand up and hug him tightly, him hugging back. "So good to see you." I say then whisper into your ear, "Act like it was you who I was supposed to meet up with and that something crazy happened." He smirks pulling back sitting down. "Sorry I'm so late Demi, I went to go buy a new phone since I broke mine and got stopped by fans and then Joe called and would not stop talking." He says playing along. He was such a good friend. "It's no big deal, just happy you're hear now." I replied. At least my best friend would show up after I was blown off. Another hour went by, we had got food, and ate, chit chatting like he was who I was planning to meet up with. As we leave and get into the car. "So Demi what really happened?" He asked me. "I was supposed to meet up with a guy and well that didn't happen. He blew me off." I say and look down at my lap sadly. "Who Demz?" He asks. "Liam, from One Direction. " I say. He shakes his head . "He really blew you off? I'm sorry. He didn't seem like the type that would." Nick says hugging me. Soon we make it to my house and Nick drops me off . "If you need anything call me." He says. I nod and wave giving him a weak smile , and walk inside. How could this have happened. Liam Payne blew me off?
