CHAPTER TWELVE

So I left to wait outside for her...

As soon as I was done with the washroom...I came out to look for my clothes...

Oops...they're gone... Apart from my underwear... Most times I have extra under wears...

But who took my clothes?....
I couldn't go outside to ask because I don't know my way around this big house...

And its passed 12am....this dinner is gonna be hot...

But what am I to wear?...I cried

I walked over to the window side to take a little view of things outside...

I saw a swimming pool...a car park where Mr Adrian parked his car and some other car...I couldn't tell the car model because I was short sighted...

So I jumped on the bed...it was so soft and lazy...I wanna sleep all over again...but I couldn't..

Until I sighted a white dress on the bed beside me...I stood up to take a good look at it well and behold the dress was pretty...

So I took off my towel without minding who brought the dress...
'Wait"...did I say I don't know?

This must be Mr Adrian's hand work...

He came in here without knocking at all... Thank goodness I wasn't in the room...when he came in

So....I wore my Bra and pant both colored blacks..

I put on the dress and it fitted me but exposing my black underwear .... Who cares thou... Its already night.....

It was a bit short in the front and having a long hem at the back... Exposing my hands and chest a little..

So I wore my makeup on and applied my favorite lip gloss on(color wine)...

I brushed my hair and styled it a little .... But my number one problem was I have no shoe.. Apart from my Canvas...

That's gonna be weird if I put you on..."I said to my shoe looking at it like my pet..

I dropped it and headed towards the door....

I walked out of the room closing the door behind me...while holding the hem of my dress..

I was quite slim and not that tall either...

So I was walking away ...holding my phone with me as usual...

On walking out of the room...I found someone standing down the hall way...seems close to the staircase...

So I went on .....I held my phone...and decided to call Matthew to inform him I would be late for work or neither make it to work... Until I dashed unto someone's chest... So soft and warm... Also putting on white like mine also...

I looked up and behold my feets ....🙇🙇...it was Mr Adrian staring at me...lost in thought...

Why are you standing here Sir?...and how long have you been waiting?.. "I asked..

About half an hour.." He said..still looking at me.

I wasn't shy nor freaked out...because I don't care on how I look like...

Tressy....you're so gorgeous... "He told me with all sincerity in his eyes...

Thank you sir...can we go please am starving...

I walked away until he held my hands...hugging me from my back...truly I liked it...but was uncomfortable and thinking why was he doing this....I needed a warm hug for a longtime... But I pulled away from him... Goodness me he's my boss... I can't let him do this nor come close to me...

Sir Adrian... Why and what's going on?...I asked him looking into his eyes with motion..

Let's just go Tressy..." He said holding my hands...

Whoa!!!"...easy with my hands Sir... I can't fall down to ruin this dress you gave me..

Come on!!!!...who cares about this dress... Let's go for dinner am starving... Gorgeous... "He said....

We went downstairs... And I saw two Guy's who seem to be in their..late Twenties/thirties...

We were almost to the last step to the floor .... I tripped off....and almost fell down but someone caught me before I could reach the floor...

Sorry Miss...easy...with the staircase next time... Was all I heard....and stood up still closing my eyes...

When I opened eyes....I couldn't imagine the person standing in front of me...I was thinking it was Mr Adrian but not him...

I had a flashback immediately... I merely recall any event in my life...but as for this I remembered him clearly...

I made two moves to face him in his face... Directly eyeball to eyeball...

So you're here?...I asked him.

Can't you at least appreciate and say thank you for helping you not to hit the floor...?

Mr Adrian still looking confused and also the other man...facing us....

Sir Adrian... This guy here made the first day of my resumption awful... Trying to lecture me...and scaring me off by talking about how Mr Collins treats the others at the eatery...

He was actually saying somethings I can't recall at all.... So early in the morning this guy walked up to me..to talk to me... I almost lost it on him... So I decided to walk away either than to lose my temper on someone I don't know...

Am glad you didn't Miss Tresaya Cyril..." He said...

How did you know my name by the way..."I asked him again...

Because am your Boss also...so please respect yourself.... And behave here...young lady..." He said backing away with a glass of whiskey in his hand...

What...!!! I whispered in a low tone... With a pale face... I looked at all the men..I was seeing... Mr Adrian fooled me here ....why?

I walked away running outside...heading towards the pool side ...I sat down...

Who are this people?

That must be Mr David ....Matthew was talking about... He's my boss also?

I cried quietly ...with my kneels close to my face....

Why are some rich people like this??....
I'm never gonna come here again I yelled....out..

Perhaps no one could hear me out.

I cried my eyes out...this reminding me of my past relationship.... Why would Mr David treat me in that manner..?

How awful....I decided to call Matthew again since I couldn't call him before...

His line wasn't going through... And it was 12:45am...

Ilayed down on the pool bed ...with my eyes filled with tears...I slept off again on an empty stomach....
