End of term christmas balll

*few months later*

Hermione's P.O.V

Draco and I kept sharing glances throughout the term. He hadn't spoken to me, or dared to come near me or Harry or Ron.

I don't think Harry noticed much change, and Ron may have noticed I was acting a little strange but I don't think he knew it was Draco aswell.

I really wanted to kiss Draco again. it had been so amazing,his lips on mine. It felt so right, yet,then, I was cheating on Ron. I know I hadn't loved Ron like I should for ages, but now, this was bad.

It was the end of term Christmas ball tonight. Of course, i was Ron's date, but I really want to be with Draco. I can't hurt Ron though. He doesn't deserve it.

So, I got in to my ball dress. It was just like the one I had worn a few years ago to the christmas ball when Harry was took part in the Triwizard tornamet( A/N was that what it was? I can't remember)

It brought me back to that day. Ron's face, the way it complete lit up and gaped at me. I can remember Draco glancing at me, though trying to look away. I honestly, at the time thought it was in my head. Apparently, it wasn't.

Ron met me in the hall this time. We stood at the back, giggling at Harry and Ginny. My eyes were more focused on Draco, dancing, seemingly awkwardly, with some girl I didn't even know! She looked like she was in the year below us.

Draco looked up at me and met my gaze. He mimed the word 'help' and I chuckled, making Ron look at me puzzled, an eye brow raised.

He pulled me to the dance floor and I relucltantly, I danced.

After a couple of songs and angry glances from Draco, Ron went to get some drinks.

Draco's P.O.V

I watched as Ron left Hermione by some chairs as he went to get drink. I turned to Lily (I think that was her name)

"I'm really thirsty, could you get me a drink please?" I asked her. She nodded and slowly walked away.

I took my chance and walked over to Hermione. He hair fell beautifully over her shoulders and her dress fitted her prefectly.

She heard me comming and looked up, "Hey." She  smiled. I almost died right there at that smile.

"H-hi." I mangaed to say sitting down in a chair next to her. "Wanna go?" I grinned mischeviously.

She thought for a moment, "I don't think it'sa good idea." She said.

I smirked, "But you want to."

She blushed and I chuckled and looked over at Ron, who hadn't even noticed. Neither had Lily, or Harry, thank God.

I dragged Hermione from the hall and outside. The cold breeze cut through me, but it was refreshing. I sighed happily and walked, hand in hand with hermione, away from Hogwarts and by a pond.

Because it was winter, the pond had frozen up. It was so beautiful. Which is a strange thing for me to think, but then, I am not as bold as everyone thinks. I looked at Hermione.

"I've been wanting to do this again for ages." I smirked leaning forward and pressing our foreheads together. Then, tilting our heads slightly in the opposite direction to eachother, our lips touched.

For a second we stayed like that, then began to move in sync. It was gentle but passionate. I out my hand behind her head pushing her head towards my, deepening the kiss.

Gasping for air I pulled away and looked at her.

"Ron." She said quietly.

I frowned, hurt, the first thing she says after kissing me like that was her boyfriends name.

"Forget about him, please, for now?" I begged with puppy eyes, knowing she wouldn't be able to resist.

Slowly, her lips broke in to a smile, and she kissed me quickly. I chuckled and pressed our lips back together.

Then it began to snow. Little snow flakes, gently falling to the ground. I pulled away from Hermione and smiled, before pressing our lips back together.

People often said kissing in the rain was romantic, but kissing in the snow, that was on another level.

"HERMIONE!?" I heard someone

yell not far off.  I jumped and pulled away from Hermione.

"Ron." She said biting her lip.

I smiled, "run!" I cried, grabbing her hand and running back towards Hogwarts.

We snuck in through the back and legged it up the stairs hoping Ron wasn't following.

We reached the griffindor dormitory and panted heavily. I smiled and pecked her lips softly.

"Goodnight." I smiled softly

 "Night." Hermione smiled and walked into her dorm.

Hermione's P.O.V

I couldn't believe what just happened. We were kissing in the snow!!! I fell asleep happily dreaming of snow, the iced pond and Draco.
