THE WIND GUSTS and the trees dances but I stay still on the bench, unmoved. For heaven knows how long I've been waiting for that silly friend of mine to come, so I decided to get on with it and just go back to my house.

It's a bed weather after all. But because I'm such an amazing friend I decided to accompany Dean, my best friend, to this party. Guess what? He didn't show up. Maybe because he's already too busy drinking spiked alcoholic beverages at the party.

"If he wasn't my best friend, I would go and buy eggs to egg his house," I mumbled pushing through the wood fence at the back of my house.

My phone rang and played 'Baby' by Justin Bieber. Yep, you guessed it wrong. I'm not his fan, it's just Dean. He set this ringtone because he said and I quote, "It's just so catchy you know? Who wouldn't notice that song?" end quote. He just doesn't want to admit that he's a Belieber. Lowkey loves Biebs.

"Hi, yes I know, I didn't come on time. Sorry, I was playing xbox with Mark and we didn't notice the time. Are you by any chance still waiting for me?" He rambled. This boy could be so frustrating at times.

"Hi, thank you for admitting that. Sorry, I got bored and decided that Netflix and pizza is better than you so I walked home. Could you by any chance hang up so I can have a bae time with bae?" I copied. That was low though.

I saw mom and dad cuddling on the sofa while watching 'Me Before You' so I decided not to bother them. Fairy, our dog, who was named by my little sister is on his bed sleeping already. Yes, his. Fairy is a boy.

It's 8:30. Wow, I waited for three hours?

I heard him laugh a little, "Come on."

I shook my head no and answered, "I think I'll call it a night and spend time with the real things that matters the most than a party."

"And that is?" He asked and I could imagine him doing the think with his eyebrows.

"Eat tons of chocolates and a lot of junk foods, so totes," I smiled before hanging up.

I went to the kitchen to get some foods which includes potato chips, ice cream, chocolates and my all time favourite, pizza!

Once I got what I wanted, I turned around only to bump on the kitchen counter and drop my phone.

For Justin's sake, why am I so clumsy? I seriously get bruises for being so clumsy all the time.

"Are you home, Camille?" I heard dad called from the living room.

I picked my phone up and replied, "Yeah dad. I was getting some chips and chocolates and dropped my phone."

Upon hearing chuckles, I heard my mom say something about me being such a clumsy girl. What can I do? Things loves to block my way every single time.

"Okay love, there's pasta with meatballs on the table eat it if you must," Mom said suddenly appearing in the kitchen.

"Dang it, mom. You startled me," I said clutching my chest.

She smiled before kissing my forehead, "Sorry about that. You said you were going to a party with Dean?"

I rolled my eyes, "He forgot about it and played the xbox with Mark. He always does it, why am I still falling for it?"

Shrugging, she replied, "I have no idea, Camille. But anyway, it's getting late. You should eat those up in your room and dispose them properly. We have to go to the mall tomorrow, we need to buy a few things for our vacation trip."

"Wait, did you just say mall and vacation trip?" I asked, a wide grin on my face.

She hummed, "I think I did. We're leaving on Tuesday. Your father and I thought it'd be good for all of us to go and check the house we bought a few years ago."
