Chapter 7

*Rin's POV*

I heard the birds chripping. I could also smells something. Something strange. It smelt like cooked meat. I opened my eyes and shot them closed emediately as the light came into them. I turned around and carefully opened my eyes again. Oh, God, why am I so stupid? How could I have forgotten I was on a mission. I sat up and looked around.

''Well good morning." I turned around and saw kakashi cooking something. It looked like a bird.

"Is that a bird?'' I asked him pointimz finger to the fire.

''What you are not going to say good morning back, huh?'' I rolled my eyes at him.

"Good morning...''

''Oh well yes this is a bird. I already cooked two of these and this is the last one. There is not enogh for everyone. I'll just skip breakfast.'' I looked at him and then at Naruto and Sakura. They were still sleeping. I got up and packed my sleeping bag.

"Is there any fresh water around here?" I asked as I stood up.

"Yeah there is one in that direction, like five minuites of walk from here. It's like a small river." I nodded and started walking in the direction Kakashi showed me.

When I came to the river I bent down and washed my face with teh water. Oh this was such a peacefull place for some reason. I just closed my eyes and inhaled deeply. I just sat on the ground like that for some time. The beautiful scent of flowers and the peacefull sound of birds chripping and singi-

''Hey Rin-chan, what are you doing here alone?" I bent my head down, frowning. That was it. My peace dissapeared.

"I was just trying to relax, but then you came and ruined everything." I gave him afake closed-eye smile.

"Oh, well I'm sorry but Kakashi-sensei told me I have to call you because we have to eat and then we will leave, we need to continue the mission.

''Oh, right. Whatever.'' I got up and walked in scilence beside Naruto.

''What took you so long?'' Kakashi asked me.

"Nothing, I was just relaxing." He just rose an eyebrow at me but kept silent.

"Kakashi-sensei, there aren't enough birds for all of us." Sakura said.

"I won't eat." Kakashi said.

We ate in scilence while Kakashi was reading a book. when we were all finished he closed it and stood up.

"Okay guys, its time to go. When we arrive at the Sand village we are going to take those papers and scrolls and just leave. No downtime. Understood?" We all just nodded our heads and ran off.

We were running through the tree tops for hours now. Naruto and Sakura were in front of me, and Kakashi was behind me. He said he can't trust me to go on the fron or on the back because he doesn't know who I am, he doesn't know if he can trust me. What an idiot. why would I do anything anyway? I don't hate anybody here, but hey, it's not like I know them or like them the tiniest bit. They all just annoy the shit out of me.

"So, Rin, since I don't know anything about you, except for your name, will you tell me something about yourself? And before yo usay no, I am your sensei and I must know something about you. Like, how old are you, where are you from, who are your parents, how did you come to Konoha s suddenly, and what makes you a Jonin?" Kakashi broke the scilence. I grunted at the questions, and sent Naruto and Sakura a dirty look as they both turned around and looked at me.

"Well?" Kakashi asked again.

"What do you want to know?"

"I already aksed you thing I want to know."
