READER NOTES: I know the main POV seems really vain and annoying at first but this is all put on, so please bare with her for the time being, she does get better!
Reader's Main Character (WRITERS POV)
Today is your first day in highschool, this is meant to be the best few years of your life so impressions mean everything. You're wearing your brand new uniform, with a fashionable cardigan over the top of your shirt and underneath your blazer. Your skirt is short, but not too short to attract attention and not too long to stand out as one of the geeks! You have your hair in pigtails, so they're smart for school but fashionable at the same time. You know you're pretty, but that means nothing in highschool, first impressions mean everything.
You climb onto the bus, looking at all the students dressed in the same uniform as you already sitting down. You examine the girls, wondering if you should sit next to one of them and introduce yourself but you're too shy for that. You begin walking down the aisles inbetween the seats, until you're suddenly tripped, you stumble forward, and land flat out on your face on the floor. The books you were holding in your hand slipped out of your hands and slide down towards the back of the bus. You hear a burst of laughter from the seats beside you, it's girls. They laugh at you out loud and say to you "Who do you think you are, parading about like a princess." Another girl laughed and added "What a loser." You keep your face down against the floor, your eyes widen as you just stare at the dirty floor. You feel a book hit you on the head, and you keep looking at the floor, this is the worst...but you don't cry.
"Get up" This wasn't the voice of a girl, it was deep and husky, this was a boy. You look up from the floor and see a boy bent down in front of you waving your books you dropped in front of your face. This boy was like a prince, you stared up at his face in shock and anticipation, you didn't know what his intentions were. All of the girls that were laughing at you stopped, and one called out to the boy "Kris, come sit and hang with us!" He stood up, placing one of his hands into his pocket, holding your books in his other hand still. He glanced over to the girls that had laughed at you and gave them a look of disgust, and ignored them. The girls were distraught by his reaction, and turned away pretending it never happened. Kris looked back down to you and repeated himself "Get up." You obediently listened to what he said and stood yourself up, brushing your uniform down. He began walking down towards the end of the bus, waving your books in the air as he did. You followed him and eventually found yourself sitting beside him at the back of the bus. He handed you your books back and you nodded slightly to him, thanking him. The rest of the bus journey was silent, you never exchanged any words but you kept sneaking looks at him. His face was perfect, everything about him was per-
"What are you an idiot? Are you that stupid you can't follow a simple school map? Aren't idiots the only ones who turn up late for class? I'm right aren't I, you're an idiot? You really are an idiot." You were stood in the doorway of your classroom, where all of your fellow classmates laughed at you from what Kris had said to you. He was stood at the front of the class solving out a maths problems that the professor had asked him to solve. He was scowling at you, this was not how you imagined him, you were mortified. You were mortified this is not the first impression that you wanted your classmates to know you for, you never wanted to be ridiculed by this boy that hardly knows you.
First impressions mean everything, and that's why you'll never forget the first impression you have of your future classmate, Kris...the cold guy from another galaxy apparently because his outer appearance is too amazing to be from this world and his personality is definitely...inhumane.
(Short first chapter, but they will become slightly longer, same length as the chapters in my other stories.)
