Y/n's POV

I woke up to the sunlight streaming through my windows, aiming directly on my face. I groaned as I sat up, a major headache pulsing through my head.

"Fuck, what happened last night."

I stood up looking around my room, and that's when it hit me. I met my soulmate. There were so many colors around my room. My smile started growing, only to drop when I realized my soulmate didn't like me much.

I also remembered Zayn, and his little brother Luis. (An: Ik Zayn doesn't have a bro named Luis, just for the sake of the story)

Luis had never really liked me ever since sophomore year where I kind of embarassed him in front of the whole school. He wouldn't leave this freshman girl alone and I stood up to him.

Flashback*

"Come on baby, come afterschool with me and we can have some fun," Luis said cornering the girl to the lockers behind her. The school was watching it happen yet no one did anything.

"Luis back off of her." I spoke loudly, stepping into the circle, catching everyone's attention.

"What's it to you, Y/L/N." Luis spoke as he glared at me.

I walked closer to him and lightly pushed him away before gently grabbing the girls wrists and pulling her behind me. "Nothing, obviously I'm preventing any sexual harassment from happening."

"It's not like she had a problem with it, right, babe?" Luis spoke mockingly. The girl behind me didn't answer and just looked at the ground, picking at the sleeves of her sweater.

"Obviously, she isn't answering. So I think you have a misunderstanding between what's a yes or a no to a girl. Is this why you're still in English 1 instead of being in English 2? I think it's better if you go back to kindergarten actually, so you can relearn the meaning of yes and no."

Luis just stood there with his fists clenched, glaring at me. "Are you fucking calling me stupid?"

See that was the thing with Luis. He knew he was stupid, but he didn't want it to be acknowledged or pointed out. I was suprised he was even the captain of the football team. Actually nevermind. Most of the football team were just huge meat walls anyway.

"You think you're so smart don't you Y/n. Just because you're about to get a full ride scholarship to a few colleges because of your dumb GPA." He spat.

"Well, I mean, if I'm getting scholarships to colleges, then yeah I'd I'm smart. I mean my GPA is gonna help with my life. Too bad you wouldn't know that now wouldn't you. I wouldn't really call you stupid Luis, but if you want to put it that way then sure. I was actually thinking more along the lines of ya know, imbecile, dull-witted, vacous, ignorant, the list could go on really."

Everyone in the crowd started laughing as Luis' face turned red in anger. I just smirked at him, and that was the last straw for him. He charged at me with his fist raised ready to punch me and succeeded. He hit right at the bruise on my jaw I spent an hour trying to cover up because of my father. I stumbled to the ground, with my vision starting to blur with tears because it really hurt like a bitch.

"You can talk all the crap you want, but you can't fight." Luis stood over me sneering.

"Fighting with words instead of fists actually show I have a higher intelligence than you anyway."

Luis raised his fist again ready to punch me, until at that moment 2 teachers came into the circle intervening what Luis was about to do.

"Mr.Malik to the office please." A loud voice boomed in the hallways. Luis looked up in annoyance and grumbled standing straight up. He gave me one last glare before walking down the hallways towards the office, kicking his feet across the polished floor.

People in the crowd dispersed, even the teachers had left, leaving only me and the girl. "U-uhm do you- do you need me to help you t-to the nurse?" she asked in a meek voice. I glanced up at her and gave her a small smile.

"Yeah, that'd be cool," I groaned as I stood up.

We both walked down the hallways side by side. She seemed extremely nervous by the silence becaus her eyes kept darting back and forth. We finally made it to the nurse's office.

"I uhm, I j-just wanted to say thank you. F-for earlier. You really didn't h-have to."

"I mean, I couldn't just leave someone there being bullied right?" She just kept her gaze on the floor not looking up. "I'm Y/n, by the way." I gave her a lopsided grin.

She looked up for a second and went straight back down looking at the floor. "I'm Tori," she mumbled.

I just smiled and patted her shoulder, thanking her for escorting me and went into the nurse's office.

Ever since that day, Luis has always been trying to pick on me and even told his older brother Zayn, about me. I couldn't do anything because Zayn was a big name celebrity, but whatever. Soon I wouldn't have to see Luis which meant no Zayn either.

End flashback
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I sighed running my hand through my hair. Last night was a mess.
Meeting your soulmate is supposed to be the happiest moment of your life. It's supposed to be the moment when you finally feel complete and you would get to know each other and spend the rest of your lives together.
Apparently, my meeting with my soulmate didn't go as planned. I sighed again, heading to my desk and turned on my computer.
Time to search these fucking colors up.
