"I know what will happen. I've heard my mom and dad talked about that many times. I've already memorized everything, you know," he smiled while looking at his hands. "You know the drill." I put my right hand out, reaching out to his right hand. "Will you marry me?" I said confidently. He is shocked but nonetheless, he holds my hand. "Yes, I do," he replies instantly. "Sync: Activated" Both ARROW and BISON echoed. We both are sucked away from that room. In a matter of seconds, Lady Astral is in front of me while James is inside a pod. Both of us will be living for an eternity for 360 years, more or less. Let this be the one. I can never imagine a life with a mortal human of twenty three years old. "Are you okay with all of this, Mr. Mortensen? You will not be able to see your son anymore," my voice sounds weaker as I speak every word. It's painful. "Don't worry, Ammara. We understand. We have always been indebted by his generosity for many generations now. We know that the time will come for one of our family members to be a part of something big." Mrs. Mortensen warmly holds my hand and gives me a hug. "Please take good care of James, Ammara. He can be playful and silly sometimes but he has the heart of gold." Said Mrs. Mortensen. The four of us change greetings. James seems to be unable to let go of his parents so soon. His eyes are red. He get rid of his tears with his sleeves. Then, we are off to Crescendo. It takes a long time to explain everything. Both James and I are with Jane for a few hours. Then, James goes for a ship tour with a staff. I'm stuck with Jane for another couple of hours to catch up on everything. I am exhausted and barely able to walk by the end of our conversation. Jane put my room with another one newer one. Memories are not easily erased, she said. I'll start anew with James so everything needs to be that way too. Without washing up, I go straight to sleep. A warm embrace accompanies me throughout the dreamland.
