A New Beginning - A Destiel fanfic

Chapter 1 ~

It was the kind of summer day where the little kid's ice cream would melt as soon as it was scooped into the cone. It was the hot, sticky weather that Katelyn hated the most. She laid on top of the covers as a fan blew, waiting for her fiancée and his brother to get home.

"Cas?" Katelyn called.

"Yeah?" Castiel popped his head in wiping sweat from his forehead.

"Why is it so damn hot?" Katelyn turned over on her stomach and wined to her best friend. Cas smiled and sat on the edge of her bed.

"I don't know.. When are Sam and Dean going to get home?" Katelyn rolled over and faced Cas.

"If you want I could call them."

"I miss Dean." Castiel blushed. Katelyn reached over and hit his head with a pillow.

"Tell!" hit "Him!" hit "That you like him!" hit. Castiel laughed hard and stole the pillow from Katelyn. He hit her once on the head and smiled.

"Hell will freeze over if I do!" Katelyn laughed then suddenly got serious.

"I swear to your father Castiel, if you don't tell him I will." Katelyn sat up and turned to Cas.

"How would I even tell him?"

"Look," Katelyn stood up and took Cas' larger hand in hers. "Now you start singing." She giggled then started singing 'I want to hold your hand' by The Beatles. "I wanna hold your haannd! When I touch you I feel happy, inside!" Cas laughed then they both stopped once they heard the impala's rumble coming from the driveway. They both ran like excited children who's parents just got home from work, well in their defense Sam and Dean have both been gone for two weeks. Katelyn opened the bunker's door to see Sam walking to her with open arms. She fast walked over and gave him the tightest hug possible, Sam bent down and kissed her. "I missed you so much." He mumbled, kissing her hair. Dean got out of his baby and hugged Katelyn, then surprisingly went over to Cas and hugged him. Dean bent down and whispered in his ear "We need to talk." Cas nervously looked to Katelyn, she smiled at him and gave him a thumbs up. "Dean?!" Katelyn yelled after them. He turned his head around quickly. "Do you want me to bring your bag in?" She asked, Dean nodded his head yes and escorted Castiel to the back of the bunker. They stopped once they reached a shady tree.

"What is it Dean?" Castiel questioned, tilting his head a little.

"I-I've been thinking, Cas and-" Dean shook his head and cut himself off.

"And?" Cas stepped closer.

"Fuck it." Dean mumbled as he grabbed Cas' hips and kissed him roughly. Surprised, the angel pulled away, once he processed what was happening Cas pushed Dean up against the tree and started kissing him roughly. Dean reached up and intertwined his fingers in Cas' hair. With a grunt Cas pulled away letting Dean down from the tree. Stunned Dean stumbled a bit trying to regain his balance.

"Jesus Christ Castiel." Dean smiled rubbing the back of his head. A small bump was forming where Cas hit his head. Cas stepped closer.

"So?" He looked into Dean's eyes. 'wow' he thought. 'you can really get lost in those' then he moved to Dean's nose and concentrated on all the little freckles that adorned his face. He got lost in thought and was rudely interrupted by Dean saying "Cas? Cas! Hello?"

"What?" Castiel shook his head.

"What does this mean for us?" Dean looked down at the grass shyly, Cas could've sworn he saw a blush creep onto the hunters face. The angel grabbed Dean's hand.

"It means whatever you want it to mean, Dean." Cas said shyly, steeling another kiss. Dean started walking to the bunkers door and dragged Castiel along with him. Cas didn't say a word in fear that this was just a dream. If he woke up right now he'd be sitting in his hot room with a record of classical music playing quietly. Sam and Dean would still be on their hunting trip and Katelyn would probably be reading in the study. They entered the bunker and Katelyn pulled Cas aside to the kitchen as Sam and Dean talked.
