New Faces

Kailani's POV

I slowly picked my head up from my pillow, rubbing my eyes. I looked over to my clock, it read 4:00. My eyes widened as I realized that I had slept for five hours. I pushed the covers off of me and got up from my bed. My stomach was growling and I needed food and FAST. Slowly I walked down the stairs holding onto the railing so I won't fall. As I reached the bottom of the stairs I wasn't thinking straight. Honestly I didn't know what to do until Ali came down the stairs and lead me to the kitchen. I sat on the stool by the bar and watched as she made three sandwhiches. Shad must be awake too. Just then he walked down the stairs wide awake. "When did you wake up?" "Just now, I can barely think straight. I wouldn't have got into the kitchen if Ali didn't usher me in here. He chuckled under his breath. "Here you go. Sandwhiches for both of you and me." "Thanks Ali" me and shad said at the same time. I immediately starting eating but I needed something else. I got up and searched the cabinet for chips until I found a bag of lays. Then I went into the fridge and poured me some root beer, the best soda on this earth. Afterwards I sat back down and finished my late lunch.

"We should go out and do something." I looked at Ali weirdly sending her a mental message. "I know you just woke up but we're not sitting in this house all day to rot like... whatever rots. Now go upstairs and get ready to go." Not satisfied but I did as she said. We did need to go out, I need some new clothes a.s.a.p. I trudged up the stairs, walking into my room and into the bathroom . I got a towel and a bath cloth out of the closet and sat it on the counter. I turned the water on letting in warm up then stripped out of my clothes. The warm water on my skin was like heaven. This is what I needed when we landed. I took some body washed and poured it on the bath cloth, then washed my whole body. I repeated the process one more time before turning off the water and stepping out of the shower, wrapping the towel around my body. I went to my vanity and picked up my coconut lime lotion from Bath and Body Works lathering my body. Then I sliped into a bra and panty set. I looked through my closet looking for something to wear, finally settling on something simple. I took one good look at my outfit before smiling and taking a quick pic, sending it to instagram.

I picked up my Micheal Kors bag stuffing my phone, keys, wallet, and a few other items in there then left my room. I jogged down the stairs to see Ali sitting on the couch waiting patiently for me. She looked up at me and smiled "Ready Boo?" "As I'll ever be Sweet Cheeks." Her face fell straight then she busted out laughing. "I haven't been called that in years." When Ali was eight she would always stuff huge amounts of candy in her mouth putting her on an ultimate sugar high. So from there on out we called her sweet cheeks. "Haha I know but your still that little girl that stuffs her mouth with candy and always will be." "I wouldn't have it any other way." We walked out the door locking it then walked to the car. We were taking my Range Rover today. As I put the key in the ignition my car roared to life. I smiled as "Bad Bitches Link Up" by T-Pain ft Trey Songz and Juicy J came on. I set the car to drive and drove down the driveway. The gate to our house automatically opened up and I drove right on then out the community gate. We rode by many boutiques and I must say I'm loving LA already. "Turn right here, the malls a light away." I pulled into the next lane and stopped at the red light. Out of the side of my eye I could see this guy trying to get my attention. I payed him no mind. Guys was not the main reason I came to LA and I'm not getting played again. The light turned green and I drove on completely ignoring the guy.

When we reached the mall finally I choose to park in the back away from other cars. Nobody has time to have their car in the shop because of some reckless driver. Me and Ali got out the car and proceeded to the mall doors. The mall was huge! I can tell that we're gonna be in here for some time. The first store we decided to go to was Forever 21. I picked up a few dresses and some shorts to try on and so did Ali. We went to the dressing rooms to go and try on the many clothes we picked up. After what seems like an hour we settled on about ten items each. We approached the girl at the cash register and she rang us up. "Your total is $283.57." The girl smirked at us as if we were supposed to say that we were gonna decide to not buy anything. I dug into my purse and pulled out my wallet getting out my black card. The girl looked at me with wide eyes as I handed her the card. I laughed in my head as she was still in shock. This is the kind of fun we have at the mall. She swipped the card and handed us our bags. "Have a nice day, come back soon." I smiled as a reply and walked out the store.

* 3 Hours Later *

Alicia's POV

Me and Lani were shopping for hours and we had to take a couple trips to the car with all the things we bought. Hopefully mom and dad won't be too mad but they are the ones that brought us to LA. Who comes to live in LA and doesn't buy the whole store? Well... other than the cheap hoes I've seen around lately that would be... nobody. The girls down here are far more stuck up than the ones down in Miami. They simply choose to show everything they've got. Obvisously they do it for the boys but I haven't seen to many cute guys at all. Me and Lani walked into Foot Locker and started to look at a few sneakers. Just then this three boys walked in and their eyes immediately set on me and Lani. I turned around and continued to shop around for some new sneakers.

I could feel someones presence behind me and I turned around to meet his gaze. His eyes were dark brown and his lips were nice and plump. I couldn't help starring at him until he cleared his throat bringing me back to his eyes. "Wussup ma, I'm Langston. You must be new around here. I haven't seen you or your friend around and trust, I know alot of people." I couldn't help but laugh a little. "Yeah that's my sister Lani. We just moved here from Miami." He looked me up and down now taking in my appearance. His eyes landed and stayed on my chest. I scoffed and harshly rolled my eyes. "Uh, hello? My face is up here." "Sorry ma just taking in the view." He smirked. "Well do you like what you see?" I whispered seductively but loud enough for only him to hear. His face perked up immediately. I'm guessing he thought that I was getting at something. "Well I actually do." "Hmm. Well I suggest that you go find a replacement cause this bitch doesn't do what your thinking. However it would be hard to replace something so priceless." His face fell straight and I laughed and walked around him to go find Lani. "Wait I didn't get your name" he shouted. I simply continued on walking.

I found her talking to some dude. She wasn't paying much attention to what he was saying. More like ignoring him but of course he wasn't getting the hint. Suddenly she snapped on him and I just listened from afar. "Say no more. Now let me break it down for you like this. I'm interested in anything you have to say to me. Your irritating the hell out of me! I've been ignoring you this whole time and you still don't get the hint that I'm not interested. Trust that I'm not one of these little hoes you probably run around with. So go find one of them and have a good life." With that she just walked away leaving him there confused to what just happened. I guess he's never been rejected before. Theres a first for everthing. "Did you really have to say all of that to him? You were rude as fuck La." She rolled her eyes. "Yes I did. I don't have time for any foolishness and his game was way off. These Cali dudes are for sure thirsty and don't think that I didn't see you talking to him over there." I laughed. "Him and his friend are just alike and I'm not phased." "Ha, alright sweet cheeks." We walked to the food court and got some chinese food for dinner before heading out.

Together we walked out of Foot locker and headed home. As Lani pulled into the driveway Shad came out on the porch. I got out the car and told him to grab a couple of bags for us. All three of us carried bags upstairs to our rooms. I was exhausted. We'd been shopping all day and now I was dropping. I got up and walked into Lani's room seeing her clothes already hung up in her closet. "No, no, no, you have to come and help me with my clothes." She laughed but I was dead ass serious. "Ok, come on lazy." We walked into my room and started putting up clothes. Soon there was nothing else to do but throw away all the bags. " I already know what I'm wearing tomorrow!" Lani half sang. "Haha, me too. We're gonna turn some heads tomorrow at school. "Yassss girl you already know!" "Well Lani Poo I'll see you in the morning. I need some sleep a.s.ap." "Rocky. Ahaha, alright sweet cheeks. See ya in the morning boo." She gave me a quick hug and was out the room. I heard a door close not too long after. I changed into my night clothes and got into bed. I watched a bit of tv before turning it off and falling asleep.
