It's been too long, please come back. I miss you so much. I love you. Why did I leave you because you were going to college. I'm so fucking lost without you. I hope you're doing well in school, I'm so proud of you. I haven't been doing well, but I got my grades up. I'm hoping you've received my letters but I never get answers back. Please write back to me. I love you.

I sighed and put it in the envelope, shaking my head. Camila came over to me and rubbed my shoulder.

"You okay Cheechee?" She asked as she ran her fingers through my hair. I nodded, trying to play it off, but she saw the envelope and sighed. "You're writing to her again?" I nodded and tried not to cry.

"Jack, come here." Camila said, and Jack jumped on my lap. He's only a bit bigger, just a big bigger than a chihuahua. I smiled, and petted him. "You're all I have left of her, Jack." I murmured. Camila sighed and hugged me, telling me she had to get to work. I nodded and told her I loved her, she said it back, walking out.

I went out into the dining room to see Lauren was making corn, and she had a container of vanilla ice cream on the counter. "Man, this is just what I needed Lauren. I love you!" I said and smiled. "Figured you needed to be cheered up." She smiled back and grabbed the utensil to grab the hot corn. She put it on a plate and put 5 scoops of ice cream in the bowl, setting it in front of me.

"One more thing." Lauren said. I was confused, seeing her get out Mountain Dew. "Oh thank goddddd." I said and took a sip. "I'm in heaven right now, thanks Lauren." I said shoving some ice cream in my mouth. "You're so weird Dinah. I love you too though." She giggled and I devoured all my food.

When I was finished I went to my room and turned on my tv, and turned on Netflix.

"Continue watching... Hmm. Orange Is The New Black or Pretty Little Liars." I said to myself. I just clicked OITNB and kicked back.

I heard my doorbell ring, then my phone went off.

Ally: Open uppp ! i miss you

I darted to my door and saw Ally with blankets and cookies. "Oh my god, Ally! Yay! I love you so much." I said and we went to my room because my bed is big enough and I was already watching Netflix.

"How are you doing sweety?" Ally asked me. I shrugged my shoulders and she sighed. "It'll be okay, give it time." She said then I interrupted her. "If it was gonna be okay, why haven't I seen her in months? Why can't I date anyone else. Why can't I look at Jack without being sad? Because she left me with him and I never saw her again. When will I see her again?!" I said and started crying. Ally handed me tissues and a cookie, rubbing my back. "God has a time for everything Dinah." I nodded and wiped my tears away, hugging her.

We watched Orange Is The New Black until 3 AM, because she didn't have work the next day.

"I've been writing a new song." I said. Ally looked at me and I showed her a paper that said 'I'll Never Be The Same' on it. "Mila helped me write it. She sings most of it too." Ally smiled at me. "I'm glad you and Mila aren't fighting anymore." I nodded and smiled.

"It's passed 3 AM, we should sleep." Ally said, getting up. "I'll sleep on the couch." She said and walked out the door. I sighed and got under my covers, hoping the same nightmare won't come.

flashback nightmare:

"OH MY GOD, BABE IS THIS FOR REAL?!" I squealed and petted the dog, and hugging it. She smiled and nodded. "I love you, Dinah." she smiled at me. "I love you Mani." She sat down on the bed and motioned me to sit down too.

"I'm going to Uni in New York." my face fell but I smiled. "I'm so proud of you. I knew you could do it." I said in a low tone. She frowned at me. "I leave tomorrow..."

"I can't do long distance." I said.

She looked at me, her face dropped.

"What?"

"I love you... but I can't do long distance..."

She started crying and I held her, we didn't move for hours. It was midnight now.

"I guess this means goodbye..." She said, not wanting to let go.

"I love you."

"I'll see you again, I promise." She said.

"Don't make a girl a promise, you can't keep."

flashback end.

I started tearing up thinking about it.

"Mani, come back..." I said before I fell asleep.
