Keith's POV (finally???)

Shiro, being the Concerned Older Brother™, made me take his fat ass dog princess buttercup on a walk. Why he decided to name her that is beyond me. So here I am, walking this idiotic dog, when she just bolts.

I stumble after her clumsily, yelling at her to stop. She ignores me and runs in completely random directions, and at some point I hear another boy yelling. I crash into something and feel a leash or two wrap around me.

I look up to see the cUTEST BOY?? I blush and look down, avoiding his gaze. I slowly coax Princess buttercup to untangle is along with his dog.

Once we're free, we just talk.

"so, um, what's your name?" I blush as he asks. HIS VOICE IS SO PRETTY WHAT THE HELL. he stumbles about a bit.

"ah, I'm Keith. You are?"

"l-lance... " I smile a bit at the name.

"Lance... I like it" I mumble while smiling at him.

"well, um, what's your dogs name?" he stutters out.

"she's not mine, but her name is Princess buttercup." I say with a chuckle.

he giggles a bit before saying "well, my dogs name is Bark Obama!" he says with a smirk. I snort before full on laughing, bending down and leaning on a convenient tree nearby.

After I had finished laughing, I looked at him with a grin on my face. He smiled back at me.

"b-bark Obama??" I stuttered out. Stupid vocal chords. He grinned at me and nodded. I giggled a little bit before composing myself. I got out a piece of paper and a pen that I conveniently had on me. I wrote something down before handing it to Lance.

"I have to go, but I wanna keep talking to you. Here's my phone number." I quickly handed it to him before walking off, smiling to myself.

I laid on my bed, bored out of my mind, before my phone buzzed. I looked over and saw it was an unknown number. I looked at the text sent.

L: hey keith... It's lance

L: I got the right number, correct?

K: oh, hey Lance! You got the right number.

L: Great!

L: so I was wondering if we could, like, walk our dogs together?

K: that sounds like fun, we'll have to meet up at one of our houses, here's my address [insert address here]

L: cool! I'm actually closer to the park, here's my address [insert address here]

K: Okay, when do you wanna go?

L: tomorrow sound good?

K: yeah, I should tell my brother though XD he'd worry when he doesn't see me in my room

L: yeah, understandable

K: Brb

I got out of my bed and check the time. 8:20 PM. I smile, realizing my brother is still awake.

I walk out of my bedroom door and go down the stairs, seeing my brother at the table. I walk over and sit in front of him.

"HE LIVES!" My brother exclaims, a huge grin on his face. I rolled my eyes with a smile on my face.

"ya know how you forced me to walk your dog?" I said quietly, receiving a nod from him.

"could I go again? I met someone, and we kinda wanna walk our dogs together. I just realized how cheesy that sounds." I said while looking down, blushing. He grins and raises his eyebrows repeatedly.

"soooooo who's the lucky guy??" he says with a smug grin on his face. I blush even more and stutter out gibberish.

"L-lance..." I finally stutter out. He grins from ear to ear. I look down, avoiding my brother's gaze.

"but seriously, you can go. If you already like him this much, I wanna see how much you'll like him in the future" he said with a polite smile. I smiled at him and got our my phone.

K: I'm all set to go tomorrow,

L: awesome! I have to go back to bed before my mom finds ou

K: Lance?? Did you get your phone taken away?

K: I'll take that as a yes

I decide now would actually be a good time to go to bed, so I plop down onto my bed and  fall asleep immediately

So I just recently got my appendix removed due to appendicitis and I have to take pain meds every three hours, I woke up at midnight, and have been awake since (it's three o clock) and I just need sleep
