I shook of the thought of falling in love with my best friend. That was impossible. Jungkook only likes me as a friend and probably has fallen in love with either Soojin or Hana. Which people see as I guess my enemies?

I covered my face trying to cover my crimson stained cheeks and sat down looking anywhere but at Jungkook. I could feel his confusion aura surround me, but I pushed it away as much as I could. Jungkook nearly spoke up to ask me if I was okay (I assume) but the bell rang. Saved by the bell.

-*-

The entire period, was literally me not even focusing at all but thinking about my emotions and feelings like a desperate twelve year old girl with a boyfriend (eugh). My mind was telling me about how studying is much more important then love but my heart was aching. Before this, I only cared about Jungkook going out with people I hated. I was to scared that he would be influenced by Soojin or other girls that followed in Soojin's satan path.

While thinking, a finger tapped my shoulder which made me jump slightly. I looked to see that Jungkook was smiling at me.
"Can I borrow a pencil?" He whispered. I quickly nodded and zipped open my pencil case to see broken stationary. My favourite mechanical pencils were broken into little pieces, my artist eraser was shredded and my pens ink was leaked everywhere and stained the inside and a little bit of the outside of my pencil case. I sighed and shook my head at him. He cocked an eyebrow and looked over to see the inside of my pencil case. He frowned but smiled none the less.

Jungkook knows that I know what the lesson was about, but he knew how strict the teacher was on copying down notes from the board. So, Jungkook tapped my shoulder once again, I looked at him and saw a cream colored bunny pen, (probably used to be white but got dirty in his pencil case). I nearly grabbed the pen until a slender hand stole it from his hand.

Hana.

"Sorry, Mina! I don't have a pen and I need to copy these notes, I know you're smart, so you don't need it." This aggravated me more than it should've. I nearly stood up and shouted but a small ripped up piece of paper with blue lines was passed onto my table neatly folded.

I quickly opened it, since the teacher hates passing notes and talking during class. (He somehow didn't catch Jungkook and Hana).

"Lets go out shopping for new stationery! Oh, and you can copy my notes. And also, where did you get that diamond necklace? I only noticed that you wore it now."  - Jungkook the great.

I thought about the Kakaocafe. I knew that Jungkook was aware of not going today so I just giggled and looked to see Jungkook looking at me. I could feel my cheeks regaining it's heat but I smiled. An actual smile, that made Jungkook shocked.

-*-
*skipping to the end of school since I want this Minakook date to commence.*

"So, where should we go?" Jungkook asked. I scratched my head and shrugged.
"Anywhere, where they sell good stationary and pencil cases, I guess." I suggested. Jungkook's eyes lit up. He grabbed me by the hand and started running.

"Where are we goi-" I stopped talking to realize that our hands were intertwined. Instead of blushing, I smiled a little and slightly squeezed it, trying my best to keep up with this fast runner of a boyfri- best friend.

After what felt like hours, our panting selves finally made it to whereever Jungkook took me. I looked up to see a shop with pastel-neon lights that said "kyutinary".

"This is where my friend Yugyeom works. His girlfriend's mom created the store. They sell the cutest stationary in the world!" He exaggerated. That's what I thought.

I have a soft spot for cute things, and I all I saw, were cute, cheap and high quality pencils, pens and erasers. (Ahem M.G).

I looked around the store to see something that caught my eye. A coffee colored, fake leather pencil case with a light brown line surrounding it and a cute bunny on the corner saying "I love you!". I picked up a kneadable eraser, a normal eraser, a couple of ink cartridges that were 0.5 and some pencil led. I took the pencil case, specifically, and showed it to Jungkook.

"I'll buy this." Jungkook's back was facing me, he turned around with a handful of pens and mechanical pencils that ranged from different Japanese animated movies and just cute animals either on a clicking pen or on a capped pen with a small decorated cellphone strap at the end.

Jungkook only smiled and giggled.
"Pick some!" He grinned. I sighed and looked in the pile of pens. The ones that I wanted were two transparent 0.5 mechanical pencils and one bunny pen that was capped with a cute bunny on the top and a black capped pen with a fat cat with vibrant red cheeks and white lines that were shaped as the whiskers and facial expression.

"That's all." I stated. Jungkook looked at me weirdly.
"Why not take them all?" He pouted. I sighed and mentally slapped myself.
"You can buy them yourself, I'm buying these." I waved them around his face and walked towards the counter. A boy with black hair and a cute apron was at the cash register.

"You must be Mina." He spoke up, while checking out my items. I nodded while looking through my bag for my wallet. He grabbed my wrist lightly, which made me look at him. He shook his head which made me confused.

"Err.." I mumbled to myself. He chuckled.
"You won't need to pay for these, you're the closest friend to Jungkook so, I'm not afraid to give you this on the house." His smiled blinded me. My eyes widened slightly.

"Really? Are you sure?" I asked while he placed the things I bought in a plastic bag with the shops logo imprinted onto the plastic. He smiled and nodded.

"Thank you so much, I'm so happy." I smiled back and slightly bowed my head.
"By the way I'm-"
"Yugyeom." I finished his sentence. He looked at me with his mouth agape. I giggled.
"I guess Jungkook has told you my name?" I nodded.

"Do you not go to school anymore?" I asked. He looked pretty young to even be in College. Before Yugyeom could even continue talking, Jungkook came in with a giant pile of sketch books and notebooks. I knew they were for me, they were the exact ones that Jungkook would usually give to me every now and then. I pretended not to know.

"Well, I'll see you later Yugyeom. Jungkook, I'll be waiting outside." I crossed my arms and walked outside, closing the door as lightly as I could.

My phone then buzzed. I received a text message on messenger. I opened my phone to see it was from Soojin..

Kim Soojin ; Stay away from Jungkook.
Me ; what are you going to do if I don't?
Kim Soojin ; I'll wipe your ugly face off with my finger nails.
Me ; Oh god, I'm scared. Yeah, it ain't happening.
Kim Soojin ; I hope you realise, that I'm not just a fan of Jungkook. I'm a loyal lover and a soon to be girlfriend.
Me ; That actually made me laugh. I'll see you later, Satan. I'm waiting for Jungkook to buy his things. It's definitely a date.
