I went to my class to mingle with my classmates. Being the shy type, I couldn't say anything. I left the class to meet up with my cousin Ephraim who was in grade 9. I was showed a senior who looked exactly like me. I could see the resemblance but I never liked her. Being the quiet boy I go about my business. But there was a problem. I was never liked by my classmates. I was treated like an outcast. I was never welcomed to any discussion, because of that, I remained timid and kept to myself. I began disliking great physician school. The seniors there weren't nice at all. There was no corner I turn to that I won't hear them talking about me. Things spoken about me by these seniors weren't nice ones. I was always bullied. Ephraim never told me about this. Terrible!
My first dinner in this ironic school was one of the experience I was going to pass through throughout my stay in this school. Immediately the bell rung for dinner we all queued in front of the dinning hall. We were ushered in class by class. We were ushered to the table we would all be eating on for the rest of the session. When the dinning hall prefect was done. The prayer was said. Immediately after the prayer, the hall became as quiet as that of a graveyard. Wow! I was surprised.
The dinning hall prefect boy was feared by all students. He was also respected by his classmates. Whenever I see him around the corner, I always tremble. He was so scary. I remember a time we were having dinner. The people sitting beside me were busy talking. While I was busy watching the dinning hall prefect boy. I saw him coming towards my table. With fear, I began to pray in my mind that he wasn't coming to get me. As he got to my table, the way he spoke to me was so unpleasant. I closed my eyes so tight only to realize he wasn't talking to me but the two boys beside me. Sigh. I was so happy. he lashed them five times in front of the school. Please be patient with me. I will make the book interesting for you all. I promise. The best takes time they say💝
