"Lydia I thought we were going on the mall?" I said. Lydia was supposed to take me to the mall for boy-detox and she's gone a totally different way.
"Well I have decided there are too many boys at the mall so I'm taking you to a secret place and YOU are going to sit there and accept it" well I am most definitely going to agree. I don't want to get on a banshees bad side.
"Ok ok I'll stay put!" I reply. We are driving for about 45 minutes before she pulls up at a cut off lake.
"Lydia of you wanted to go to a lake we could have gone to your lake house that is next to a lake" I say
"Well I'm not going to be here but someone else is" and with that she got in her car locked the doors and drove off.
"SERIOUSLY LYDIA SERIOUSLY!" I shout, I would run after her but I only run for my life.
"Y/n?" Guess this turned into a life threatening situation.
"Brett, what do you want"
"I'm sorry but I have an explanation"
"Explain away" this better be good, although I did think it was strange Lydia didn't even mumble a bad word about him in the car.
"Well... ever heard of a siren?"
"You mean like evil mermaid, lures people to there death siren?"
"Yeh well that's what she was and one minute I'm locking the door to my house coming to you when I start to feel dizzy and you really don't want to know the rest." I want to believe him, I really really do but I saw him with another girl.
"I want to believe you Brett I do but this seems really convenient" it's official I hate myself, the look on his face it made me want to cry. Then he pulls out his phone and messages someone. The next thing I know is Scott's coming.
"Scotty? What are you doing here?"
"Well you know how I never listen to you? Well I went to Brett's to beat him up and I did a little. But then he told me about the siren thing and I was like yup I didn't believe him but then you know my memory claw thing"
"Yeh?"
"Well I did that to him and he's telling the truth" he. Didn't. Cheat?. I guess I started crying because Brett came up to me and engulfed me in a hug.
"Don't cry baby, it's killing me" after about five minutes I stopped. Scott had left so it was just me and Brett again in the morning air. Wow that was a chick flick moment I was hoping to avoid.(A/N supernatural anyone 😁).
"So are we still together?" Brett asked hopefully.
"Yeh we're still together"
