Chapter 9 - Arrival

Zara's POV
"Hi Zach!" I said excitedly over the phone "Hey Beautiful wassup?" He asked "The Sky" I replied "Haha your so funny" he joked "that I am" I said sassily "How's Seattle?" He asked "its fine,But Zach..." I trailed off "what?" asked Zach "Grams passed away" I said tearing up "Oh no I'm so sorry Zara" said Zach "well I'm exiting the plane right now I'll call you later ok?" He said "ok" I said "Ily Babygirl" said Zach as he hung up quickly. I texted him "DONT CALL ME THAT" I said as I turned off my phone and shoved it in my pocket then I felt my phone vibrate "Haha your so cute baby girl" he texted back "Duh I'm cute but nooooo" I typed in "i gtg bye love you beautiful" he replied "finally not the b word" I typed then shoved my phone down my pocket. I walked in the living room to see my best friends standing there.
"ANGIE OML ALIYAH WHEN DID YOU GET HERE?" I screamed and ran too them "we came as soon as we heard" said Aliyah "Oh, yeah..." I said speechless "I'm really sad but not shocked cuz deaths often happen in our family" I said as I sat down on the sofa "Yeah, you were pretty sad when grand pop passed away" said Angie as she sat next to me "But...to make you feel better we brought you this!" said Aliyah as she pulled out a big blue basket from behind her "Oh thanks guys but what time is it?" I ask "it's 6:00pm, why?" asked Angie "I'll tell you just come with me" I answered, We all piled up in the car and drove to the airport to pick up Zach.

Zach's POV
I'm currently exiting the plane and standing outside by the arrival area. I was walking when I accidentally bumped into someone "I'm so sorry!" exclaimed the girl I bumped into 'I know that voice' I thought "Zara!" I said as I grabbed her and spun her around "Huh, oh ZACHARY!" She said finally realizing who I was "I missed you beautiful" I said as I put her down "I did too...Zachie" she said as she came up with a nickname for me. "Seriously?" I whined "what?" She asked "Reese has the same nickname too!" I whined "well nothing else suits you other than Zachary and Zachie, and you don't like it when people call you Zachary" She reasoned "oh, How are you so smart and I'm so dumb?" I asked jokingly "Well ya know what they say...opposites attract!" She said "Wow...wait, HEY!" I said "Catch me if you can!" She yelled and then ran away "OH I CAN!" I yelled back then chased her throughout the airport "Got ya" I said as I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her back to me. She yelped as she bumped into my chest "dang it" she mumbled "Guys...Zara...Who?" breathed a girl as she walked up to Zara "Oh yeah! Zach this is Angie, my childhood bestie and Angie this is Zach, my boyfriend" she introduced us "Nice to meet you" said Angie as she stuck out her hand for me to shake which I did "same" I said as I shook her hand then suddenly she wouldn't let go instead she held my hand harder and started to speak "if you even think about hurting Zara or breaking her heart, I swear to spongebob squarepants that I will break your face and won't even think twice. am I clear?" She said through gritted teeth "Crystal" I replied nervously Zara was giving Angie a 'WTF' look "OK! Lets go" said Zara breaking up the awkward silence. I ran up and intertwined my hand with hers "are you ok? I'm really sorry, Angie, Aliyah and Eben are just really overprotective of me" Zara rambled "Zara, it's fine" I said "oh thank the go-" she went on but I interrupted her with a kiss, "OH MY LORD PDA, PDA!" I heard Angie scream,we quickly pulled apart to see everyone staring at us "seriously?" asked Zara. "sorry I had no other way" I said sheepishly "it's fine" she mumbled as she blushed deeply "We're here" announced Angie "Finally!" I said then helped Zara stuff my things into the trunk and then sat in the front "can I drive?" I asked "is the sky purple?" Zara replied "Oh come on! I won't crash into anyone I promise!" I exclaimed "Pinky Promise?" asked Zara "Pinky Promise" I replied and then hooked my pinkie with hers, Then we all sat in and drove to Zara's house as she told me the directions.
