Unedited, will be soon Ashlyn P.O.V.
Growing up in Oatman, Arizona as an orphan is tough, but sometimes your friends make the world of difference. Even with friends I still had it rough, I lost my parents when I was four. The said a madman broke in and shot them, but I don't believe it. If he randomly broke in, wouldn't he try and rob us? No one listens when I try and ask so I stopped asking. I met Bryan when I first arrived, we instantly connected. He was the only one that held me when I cried. The only one who listened to my theories. Ms. A was our 'mother' even though some of us still had our parents, she felt like a real mom to us. Everyone loved her, even the foster families. Thank the Lord they did, because that was the only time I ever saw Bryan after he was adopted at age 14. His family would bring him over for the day and we would run around and catch up. He stopped visiting at 18 because he died. He was driving home from work and was hit head on by a drunk driver. They said that he didn't go 'peacefully', but very painfully. I stopped talking for almost 4 ½ months. He was buried next to my mother. It was requested by me and his family.
My brother Cameron is stupid. I love him and all his weirdness. Apparently so does his 2 million Instagram followers. My sister Sierra is never around me, so I hardly know her. Gina loves me, we first met in Wal-Mart. I am not even kidding. I did not adopt their last name, Gina wasn't mad or upset when I told her that I wanted to keep my original last name. But I did call Gina 'mom'. When she found out I was pregnant she didn't yell, pale, or anything. Cameron sure did though. All mom did was:
"Are you one hundred percent sure?" she said.
"Yup, I took five tests" I replied holding back tears.
"We will help you no matter what, is that understood?"
"Yes, mom" I said letting the tears fall. The door opened as she came over and hugged.
Cameron walked into the kitchen and immediately asked me what was wrong when he saw my tears. He never liked Andrew, I don't know why, but I think it is the brotherly protection thing.
"What the heck? Ash what's wrong?" he said hugging me from the back since mom was hugging me from around the front. Mom stopped hugging and went back to whatever I was she was doing.
"Cameron deserves to know, he may be able to help as well" mom said.
"What should I know, mom, Ashlyn?" he sounded angry because of us leaving him out.
"Cameron promise me that you won't do anything?" I said very calming.
"No, tell me please, I am extremely worried."
"Fine, I won't fight you on this. Cameron, I don't remember the party at all but I wasn't feeling good and I called Lauren to tell her I wouldn't be at practice and she said she was coming over and was going to bring everyone and that there was something she needed to tell me. And so, I let her in and she and the girls dragged me upstairs and said that Callie found me upstairs and Andrews house and I passed out. I was confused because I didn't even remember going upstairs, I remember Andrew handing me a drink and saying here, and that is as far my knowledge. The girls said that they dressed me and brought me home. They were hoping I would call, they said that there wasn't any alcohol on my breath or anything, so there are only two options. Drugs or Andrew beat me." I paused for a reaction. Cameron was worried and then when I said that his face darkened instantly.
"Continue" he said very coldly.
"But there weren't bruises, except on my arms." I rolled up my sleeves to show him.
