Are We The Star Crossed Lovers?

Chapter 3

I saw Drake a few times durring the long school day but other then our meeting in the lunch room we didnt talk. I met Taylor and Emery near the schools entrance and we headed out on our adventure around Edendale. In town we go to the mall and other local places. At my old school we never really got the chance to leave campus, so going out and hanging with friends was a welcomed new experience. We go to one place which apparently is the local hangout and I meet some of the other students, one of them I have seen around school and know he's Emery's friend Lucas and another girl named Julia who apparently was in the hospital with Emery .

" So Kat I heard you may sing for us at my back to school party tonight. I hope you all don't mind but I invited the Atrian 7. " Lucas says

"Yeah I will, but I was wondering what you wanted me to sing, and I don't care about the Atrians being invited" I tell Lucas as I sip on a blueberry pomegranate smoothie.

" It doesn't matter to me what you sing, just make it good" Lucas says. He joins the girls and we all decide to take a break from the shopping and touring and just relax and talk in the hangout, when we are interrupted by a women who is wearing all white.

"Hello, My name is Gloria and I head the Atrian integration program

at your school." the women says approaching our table with a air of superiority "I was wondering if you students would like to part take in a special opportunity". She explains to us that we would be allowed to spend a day in the Atrian sector, and see how they live and, hopefully, get a better understanding of their life.

" Im sorry, you offer sounds good and all but I hear there are a lot of diseases in the sector." Taylor replies all but turning her nose up at the offer.

"Id love to do it." I say to Gloria. I figure it doesn't hurt at all to gain knowledge on any subject.

" Im with Kat, Id love to see the sector" Emery and Julia say as we all go for the permission slips she has laid on the table.

"Great, you ladies will be bussed into the sector tomorrow at 7 am from the school." Gloria says turing to leave the hangout.
