"The world never stops. It just keeps moving...forever. It shows no mercy. It shows no peace. The world is ruthless and it will kill us all." Thea looked at the crowd of people before her. "We must be strong! We must! We must! You, my people, and I, your leader, will conquer." The people stared hatefully back at her. The queen just smiled deviously, and said three simple words: "Kill them all."
Suddenly all of the queen's guards rushed forward with their white poles that everyone in Iridescent has learned to loathe. They formed a tight circle around the townspeople and started to beat them down with sticks. Blood was splashing everywhere and the queen was sitting in her throne, soaking it all in.
"That'll be enough for today!"she yelled across the square. "Don't get so blood thirsty, boys...just be patient." Many people were looking down at their dead family members and friends with such a...look... A look as if this was usual, which it was, everyone was just wondering if they would be next. One woman was crouching by a young man, screaming bloody murder. It soon became silent. "Take her away!" The queen said. And they did.
