You and Hoseok had planned to go bike riding to your local park and have the sweetest picnic that the two of you could ever have...literally. Hoseok packed chocolate covered strawberries, special red velvet cupcakes, double chocolate chip cookies, and more. You insisted that it was too much and he insisted that it was too little.

"There's never enough sweets for my sweetie" Hoseok smiled and pinched your cheek.

"Do you always have to say such cheesy things?" you replied with a smile.

"You know you love it."

You rolled your eyes playfully and walked away. Hoseok knew you too well; you secretly loved his cheesy statements. You were getting ready to leave and right before you took a step out of your house, there was a sound of thunder cackling.

"That's odd. There was no mention of a storm today in the weather forecast. It looks like our plans are rained on."

"You never cease to find an opportunity to throw in a pun. But it sounds like we're gonna have to stay in. I was looking forward to our date today." You said with a pout.

"That's ok...we'll just have an indoor picnic."

"But it's not the same Hobi..."

"Yes, it is. Look!"

Hoseok began to rearrange the living room. He moved the couches, the coffee table, spread out a green blanket, and started laying out the sweet treats.

"See! I even put a green blanket so it could like we're laying on the soft, warm grass."

You couldn't help but smile Hoseok truly was the best boyfriend that you had. He did anything just to see you smile. The two of you sat down and began eating the treats. Hoseok then decided to bring up all the memories you two shared.

"Y/N, remember that one time where we were on a date and in one sitting you managed to choke on food, water, air, and somehow your saliva?" He asked laughing.

"Yes...I'm surprised I didn't die that day." You responded with a smile.

"And remember when I met your family?"

Oh boy, that day.

The two of you decided to go out on New Year's Day At the time you and Hoseok were dating for one month, and you decided to go into downtown with your mom to get you hair and makeup ready. Your mother knew that Hoseok was stopping by the house to pick you up. However, the rest of your family did not. Normally it's just you and your mother, but with it being the holidays and all, it was your two uncles, two aunts, seven older cousins, and their kids...oh! And your grandmother too. They were all at your house setting up for the family get together. You then received a text from your cousin stating:

Cynthia: Hey Y/N, there's a cute guy all dressed up at the house...he's asking for you ;)

"Oh. My. God." you were afraid.

"What happened?" asked your mom with concern.

"Hoseok is at the house already..."

"I thought he was going to pick you up at 8?"

"Mom...IT IS 8!" you said horrified.

Because someone showed up late to their appointment, you ended up having a later appointment time, therefore making you late.

"Then we need to hurry and get to the house." your mom said frantically.

Luckily your hair was already done, and you just needed 20 minutes left in the makeup chair. Your family was crazy, to say the least. Granted they were a good crazy; they were open for any conversation...ANY. You decided to text him.

Y/N: Oh my god Hoseok...I'm super sorry for making you wait. I'm on my way...I promise.

Hoseok: Don't worry. I'm, having fun with your family.

Y/N: Please...their crazy

Hoseok: Really, don't worry. I'm being entertained.

Although you weren't as stressed, you were still rushing to get home. In the meantime, as your mom was driving, you fixing up your hair in the car and Hoseok was explaining how the two of you met, and how you were now dating.

"Oh my god.." said one of your uncles

"But she doesn't date," said your cousin Jessie

"Look how handsome you are.." said your Aunt Martha

You entire family began to talk all about your embarrassing moments: like how you stuck a grilled cheese sandwich inside a video tape player, and then your hand the next time. Or how you used to love running around naked as a little kid. Hoseok couldn't help but laugh at all your cute moments as a child. You were an hour late when you were finally able to "save" Hoseok from your crazy family.

"You know that is one of my favorite days of my life," Hoseok said with a broad smile.

"Why? I was late, and we almost missed the dance."

"Yes, but I learned so much about you that day. I didn't know you had a thing for being naked...even now." Hoseok winked at you.

"Yah.." you blushed.

You and Hoseok have been dating for three years now and well...He knew you and your body very well.

"Ok ok. But what about our first date?"

"Well, of course, Hobi! We had a picnic. It was pretty much what we were going to do today, except it was sunny back then, and rainy now. Why are you asking me if I remember these things?"

"I just wanna make sure that you'll remember today as well."

"Why today?" you looked at him questioningly

"Because today is our anniversary."

"Hobi...don't be silly; our anniversary is in December."

"No, not when we became a couple. This one."

And with one swift movement, Hoseok pulled out an individual cupcake with a ring on top, got on his knees, and took one of your hands into his.

"Y/N, every day I see you, I am more than happy to know that you are still with me. You can recall all of our special moments to the smallest detail, and you can remember the little moments with unique detail. We have been together for three years, and I want 3 to turn into 4, 5, 6, into forever. Y/N, I love you, and I will do absolutely anything for you. I will love, encourage, and trust you no matter what happens. Y/N, will you marry me?"

"Hobi...I..of course I'll marry you!" you exclaimed. You wrapped your arms around his neck and gave him the tightest hug you could manage. Hoseok almost fell back with you on his arm. He didn't care if he fell, just as long as you would be in his arms. You kissed him until you felt tears coming down. When you pulled away, he lifted the cupcake that he surprisingly still managed to hold up to your face. Hoseok knew that you weren't one for diamonds, so instead, in the center was an oval shaped opal stone with a rose gold band. It felt classic, yet modern. Vintage, yet forward. You cried even more at the fact that he remembered what your dream ring was. Hoseok truly knew everything about you.

"This is the sweetest treat I could have possibly asked for." you said and gave him a small sweet kiss
