Part Four:3

Alex’s POV

Why is the fact that Ally’s dad is out of jail so bad? I don’t even know why he was in jail.

“Ally,” I whispered “Why was your dad in jail?”

“I can’t do this right now; I have to talk to my mom now”

“Ally, Please explain to me why he was in jail”

“I CAN’T!” she shouted.

“Go talk to your fucking mom then.”

“Look, I don’t need us to be in a fight right now. What I need is to talk to my damned mom. Now shut the fuck up and drive me home. Now.”

“Get some clothes on then” Ally quickly put on her Hollywood Undead concert T-shirt and her black skinny jeans.

“Let’s go” she whispered. I could practically hear the tears in her voice. I grabbed her hand.

“Ally, I’m sorry… I was being a jerk…”

“It’s fine” Tears started to fall from her eyes.

“Ally… Please just tell me why he was in jail.”

She took in a deep breath.

Ally’s POV

I was actually going to tell him why my dad was in jail. Why I’ve never talked about him. Why I’ve never said I missed him. I was absolutely terrified about how he was going to reply. I took in a deep breath and tears started to fall from my eyes again. Another deep breath, more tears. Finally before I even realized it I was talking. I was completely numb. I couldn’t feel my mouth move.

“The reason I hate my dad is… The reason is… When I was eight… He… He raped me” I stuttered. A look of shock and understanding washed over Alex’s face.

“Ally-“

“I’m not done” I cut him off. I sucked in another deep breath and sighed. ‘He has to find out sometime doesn’t he?’

“Alex, He abused me all my life, he constantly raped me. I just didn’t realize what he was doing until I was eight. I would go to school with bruises and handprints all over me. My dad told me this is what real daddies did to express their… ‘Love’ for their children. So I just assumed that my dad loved me more than all my friends’ dads loved them. Until one day in third grade we had a guest speaker. She was a police officer. She came to show us a documentary on abusive parents.” I took in a deep breath “It said this and that. It reminded me about what my dad had said to me. So I went home and told my mom. She just assumed people at school made fun of me or I fell and that explained all of the cuts and bruises all over my body. My mom had no idea this was happening. The night I told her she confronted my dad… guess what he did. You probably guessed right. He took a knife out on my mom and shoved the knife inches from her face. She screamed bloody murder. My dad had duck taped me to a chair so I had to watch him try and murder my mom.” I took a deep breath so I could finish. “I started crying when he took the knife and cut my mom above her eye brow. She was gushing blood I screamed and cried as my dad walked toward me with the knife.”

                “He kept walking toward me and my mom was passed out from lack of blood. Then all the sudden I heard ‘open the door up’ and my dad dropped the knife. All the sudden the door was kicked in and the police saw the sick and twisted scene and my dad was nowhere to be found. They ran through the house and then they heard a car start up and drive away.” I wiped away a few tears. It was useless though because more tears just followed it up “My dad got into a car crash that night. He almost died that night. At the time I just hoped he was okay. Now I wish he had just died. But with the turn of unfortunate events he lived and now he’s out of jail. I don’t know why though. I guess the fact that he didn’t actually kill me or my mom… maybe he just got charged with rape. I don’t know. But I’m screwed when I see him” I started bawling and I couldn’t stop.

“Ally, Baby, it’ll be okay. I won’t let him touch you or your mom.” He cooed.

“Thank you” I sobbed into his shirt.

“I think we should go talk to your mom now” he started stroking my hair lovingly.

“That’s probably a good idea.” I wiped my tear stained face and held back anymore oncoming tears. Alex grabbed my hand and led me to his car. Time to go home.
