Today is prom. Today I get to come out and no longer be Mystery girl. I can sing without hiding behind a camera. I get to finally tell my family and Cody about me singing. I cant wait to sing one of Cody's own songs to him and watch him find out that it is me. I stand in my dress (http://media-cache-cd0.pinimg.com/236x/d0/cf/f6/d0cff6d8b77bf7eb60b2d96addc0f0fc.jpg) I love it so much. It is absolutely beautiful. The light pink color shows off my tan skin and blonde hair. It just looks amazing. I curled my hair and then had someone do a smokey eye on me. It looks amazing and in a few minutes Cody gets to see. My brother is dressed in his tux, He got some cheerleader to go with him and she is meeting him there. I don't now why.
"Laura Cody is here" My mom yells.
I walk to the door to see my Prince Charming standing there. He is so hot. His white tux and his light pink tie matching my dress. I gasp at how handsome he looks. I grab his hand and bring him inside. My mom takes a few pictures before I drag him back outside. I jump into the drivers seat of my truck. Cody gets in beside me and Liam jumps into the back. We are the hottest things ever. I slowly drive to school as my favorite song starts playing.
When we walk into the gym all I can hear is music playing. Cody goes and runs off to get me and Liam drinks. Liam looks around for his girl before he grabs one of her friends.
"Where is Annie?" He asks her.
"Why?" She laughs.
"She is my date" he smiles.
"Try again. She is over in that corner making out with a hot guy" She laughs pointing to a corner.
Sure enough Annie is over there making out with some football jerk. I laugh and then look at Liam. He looks a bit hurt. I give him a small smile before looping my arm around his. we walk out onto the dance floor and dance a bit. Cody comes and joins us later on with punch. I ship my punch while throwing up my arms. Before long a slow song comes on and Cody smiles at me.
"May I have this dance?" he smiles.
"You may" I smile.
He wraps his hands around my waist and I set my hands on his chest. We rock from side to side. I stare into his beautiful blue eyes before I set my head onto his chest. I can feel the beat o his heart. It beats faster as I place my head onto his chest. Liam walked off to find some girl to dance with. Before long I see him through the crowd with a pretty girl on his waist. He seems to be happy so I don't bother with it.
"I hear that Mystery Girl is going to finally come out tonight" He smiles.
"Yeah I know. I cant wait to finally find out" I laugh.
"Yeah my record deal says they want to know who she is to" He says.
"Why?' I ask.
"They want to have a album with her and manage with her. They see a lot of potential in her apparently. I see a lot in her to. She is amazing" He smiles.
I have to keep my self from blushing so I just nod and look around. I cant believe I am about to do this. About half way through the dance I tell Cody I need to go to the rest room. I go over to Liam and pull him away from his date.
"Its time." I smile.
"You sure you wanna do this?" He asks.
"Very" I say and tell him about what Cody said.
He shakes his head smiling before we walk over to the DJ. We tell him and he smiles. He hands me a mic and I head behind the curtains. These curtains are thin so they are going to shine a light o me so you see my silhouette. I take deep breaths before I hear the DJ start speaking.
"Yo yo yo. Guess who is hear to sing? Mystery girl" He screams and I hear cheering.
"Well wait to longer here she is" He starts to music.
The light shines on to the curtains and I walk out. I start singing.

The curtains fly up as I hit the high note.

I finish and the gym fills with clapping and screams. I look for Cody and see him. He is leaving. I run off the stage and run after him. I call out his name but he doesn't stop. He walks out of the gym. I grab for his arm but he doesn't stop.
"Cody stop" I say.
"No you didn't tell me that you were Mystery girl. How could you not tell me that!" He yells.
"I wanted to surprise you" I say.
"No Laura don't" He says shaking his head at me.
"How didn't I see it?" He says.
"I don't know Cody please don't do anything. I'm sorry" I plead.
"No Laura I need time to think about this" He says and walks away.
I think about running after him but I decide against it. I walk to my car and get in. I throw my hands at the steering wheel. I cant believe this. I start crying.
