"Macey, babe, you should come with me." My girlfriend of six months, Cara, said to me over the phone as I lie on my couch-eating ice cream and watching the telly. I groaned as a large spoon of ice cream melted on my tongue.

"But I'm watching TV!" I whine, my Aussie accent as clear as day, as I swallow the now chocolate tasting liquid that I'm going to have to work off later on in the week.

"Come on Macey, the boys said they'd love to meet you. And its Liam's birthday, it's only fair." Cara argued. I groaned once again and sat up on my couch.

"Still not convinced." I sigh into the microphone, setting the spoon in my sink and throwing the now empty single-serving ice cream carton into the trash bin.

"It's at Funky Buddha." My ears perk up at Cara's last words and I clear my throat. "Um, I guess-I guess I can try making it." I say nonchalantly as I lean on the counter of my kitchen. Cara's beautiful laugh erupts from the speakers and it makes me smile.

"Of course, 20 year old Australian supermodel Macey Montgomery only leaves her house for the chance to go to Funky Buddha and no other reason." Cara teases in her 'manly' announcer voice, making my smile widen.

"Alright, well, hang up and then come pick me up in 20?" I suggest to Cara, knowing she's willing to let me hitch a ride; minus the fact that I have a car myself.

"Sure, see you then." Cara says, with her beautiful smile in her voice before she hangs up. I smile to myself and then start walking to my bedroom to get dressed.

I take my time to get dressed, wanting to get a good impression on the boys when I first meet them. It's my priorities. Sure, children are always taught to give three chances on judging a person, but first impressions are always permanent these days.

I smile as I slip the sequined shorts onto my body. Always the best for these types occasions and only the best for Cara. Once I curl the last strand of my hair, my doorbell rings. I take slow strides towards the door, and once I open it, I lean on the doorframe and smile at Cara.

"Wow, someone's dressing to impress." Cara says, nodding in approval. I smile and then give her a quick kiss on the lips. I turn around to set my apartment's alarm and then I turn the lights off and close and lock my door."I always dress to impress for you babe and you look beautiful tonight." I smile as our hands interlock and we make our way out my apartment building. Once we reach the lobby, I can already see the bright flashes of photographers through the windows and the entrance doors. We step out, and the large flashes seem much more intense and the yelled out questions are louder and amplified.

"Cara are you doing drugs?" No dimwit, does she look like a druggie to you?

"Cara, are you dating Harry Styles?!" Yes, she's cheating on me publically with the teenage heartthrob of One Direction.

"Macey, are you pregnant?!" ...that was just a stupid question.

"Are you two engaged to each other!?" Do you see a ring on our fingers? I don't think so.

"When is the wedding?!" IT'S ONLY BEEN SIX MONTHS PEOPLE.

The loud yelling becomes muffled and inaudible once we step inside the taxi and make our way to the nightclub. Our cab ride was short and quite silent, with the low volume of the radio playing throughout the used car. We both keep to ourselves and go on our phones. The one thing I don't like about society; no physical contact. It's all screen to screen, never mouth from mouth.

"Macey, Macey! Are you and Niall dating?!" No we haven't even met, now shut up.

Soon enough, the loud questions return before we make our journey into the club. Even though the rules on the wall strictly say '21 & over only', they still let me in-possibly because it will make their franchise look good. Cara holds my hand tightly as we maneuver our way through the clusters of people that have come with their own posse. I ignore all the looks given and all the people that try to say hi to me.
