Next day morning..

Manik's POV

"The moment she stopped faking happy, when she realised she wasn't 'alright', was when the sun always rose in the morning, but her world stayed as dark as the night. " was her today's quote on her door.

"So she still quotes, interesting." Walking downstairs he read those quotes and there he met Mr.Murthy sipping coffee and reading newspaper.

He saw Manik and asked him to join. Manik was feeling awkward, as in how to sit with a man who is his girlfriend's father. Clearing his throat, "Good morning uncle.." He wished but Mr.Murthy raised his brows on hearing uncle and Manik corrected his sentence "..uummm.. I mean Good Morning Sir.."

The morning wasn't as pleasant as he thought it would be. He was expecting Nandini but her father was lucky to meet him.

"So tell me.." Murthy asked him as a matter of fact he knows about he loves his daughter.

"Haan ji.. I mean kya sir.." He rubbed his hands and cleared his forehead as both were sweating as Murthy asked him about something which he was least expecting.

"About you and..." Before he could say further cabir and gang along with Nandini stepped out of their rooms, discussing something.

"So done I'll meet you guys by 1pm.." Saying this nandini saw Manik and her father talking, she wished her appa but didn't saw and wished manik.

"Good Morning everyone..good morning nandini.." He took first step but it seems he won't be able to make it up for her so easily.

Others wished him expect Nandini and this irked him.

Reading some files she wished bye to everyone and her appa before leaving for office.

"Aur Murthy.. How are you feeling.." Cabir asked him giving a big smile.

"Itni thandi main what will anyone feel cabir..idiot.." Abhi mocked him and sat beside Murthy.

"So kya baatein chal rahi thi Manik ke sath uncle.." Arya asked Murthy and manik straightened himself.

"Bas normal baatein aryaman.. Waise Mukti beta.. Tum itni innocent aur tumhara bhai aisa kyu.. I mean lagta toh nahi aisa.. Fir bhi dono mein bahut antar hai.." Murthy stoned manik and this made him sad.

"Don't go on the cover Murthy.. Kuch log aise hi hote hai.. Apna matlab nikal gaya to bas chod do.." Cabir taunted him munching biscuits and again manik was targeted with harsh words.

He was here to apologize Nandini and to everyone about his behaviour but seems like stars wasn't in his favor.

"Khair ye sab chodo.. We are going out for some sight seeing.. Tom tu bhi chalega na.." Mukti tried to save him but his luck was unlucky today before he could reply murthy interrupted and said "no.. Manik will help me in my study room today.. You guys carry on."

"Gayi bhains pani main.." Manik mumbled under his breath because now he knew he will be grilled to the core.

Nodding their heads everyone left and Murthy asked manik to join him in his study.

"So how are you Manik.." Murthy asked him reading a book.

"Am Good Sir.." Fumbling he replied as he wasn't aware about the storm which was about to hit his nerves.

"Haa.. Acha toh feel karoge hi na.. Itna sab kuch hua fir bhi nandu allowed you here.." He was hitting an iron hot rod slowly.

"Am happy that she allowed me sir.. But i promise sir i will.." Happily he started manofying murthy but again his stars were against him and murthy interrupted him by his chuckle and "Promise.. Isn't it a veeeerrrryyyyyyy huge word Mr.Malhotra.."
