Ivan was still awake
I feel so bad for the kid. He has a bad time sleeping and he gets super bad nightmares.
I could see the light from his phone lighting up his face. He was probably on twitter or Snapchat.
I soon got a Snapchat from him asking if I was awake, I did not answer because I was to tired.
I remember when we were little and Ivan would wake up with nightmares and I would always be so scared and I could here him screaming and crying. I would remember my mom sitting in their trying trying to calm him down.
I finally fell asleep and so did Ivan but I was awoken by little sobs and I thought I was dreaming but it was getting louder.
I looked down to the bottom bunk and could not see Ivan.
I got up and saw Ivan tossing and turning. I already new what was happing.
"IVAN IVAN WAKE UP!"
I saw his puffy teary eyes open just a little bit.
He was still in a dream state.
I had never heard him cry this hard.
I hold his arms down so he would not throw them everywhere
"Emilio-stop-stop,Let-let go PLEASE!"He yelled
I let go of his arms
"Ivan it's me Emilio, it's going to be ok!"
I got in bed next to him and pulled him in close to my chest.
"E-Emilio" he whispered
"Yes I am right here" I said rubbing his back.
Ivan nose was runny and had tears running down his face.
Soon my shirt was socked in tears.
I ran my hand though his hair.
"Shhh,it's ok" I said
Chance came in and mouthed 'is everything ok'?
I nodded
'What's wrong?' He wisperd
I nodded towards Ivan and chance nodded back and walked out.
Ivan was holding onto my shirt and sobbing into my chest
"Your ok, no one is going to hurt you"
I still did not know what the dream was about but it must of bad"
Ivan was hyperventilating so I grabbed him tighter and rubbed his back
"It's ok I got you it's ok".
Ivan started shaking and sweating and gripping to me tighter.
"Bro bro calm down it's ok!"
"Emilio I-I thought it was real!"
"Yo it was just a dream calm down"I said
"Oh Emilio, it's ok" I said while wiping a tear off his cheek
"Yo you need a I go to sleep ok?" I said
"But but what if I have another one?"He said
"Want me to sleep down here?" I said
I just got s small nod and I pulled him into my chest
"Shhhh" I said quietly
"E-Emilio t-their was so much b-blood"
"Ohh Ivan it's ok"I said cradling his head
"Want some water?"
"Yes"
"Ok I am going to go down stairs ok it's ok"
"Sí" Ivan said though sobs
I walked down stairs and saw chance and Anthony down their eating left over pizza
"Yo what happened" Anthony said
"He had another nightmare, like I feel so bad for him he has had them since he was a kid"
"Sorry bro" chance said patting my back
I got the water and walked back up stairs to Ivan crying his eyes out and shaking
"IVAN" I yelled running over to him
"it's ok, ShhhShhhShh" I said stroking my hand through his hair.
Ivan holds onto me tight and I try and pull away to see if he was ok
"NO Emilio please please don't leave me"
"Bro I am not it's ok your ok deep breaths ok" I tell him gently rocking him back and forth.
I handed him the water and he took and few sips then layed back down and eventually fell asleep
