Melanie's POV

As I took a step out of my sisters car I walked to the line of students as a warm breeze hit me. I smiled and saw some of my friends and gave them hugs. I then looked and saw the new girl standing in front of us. Who's that? I asked my friend Kira. Kira says "I think that's the new student in our class named MacKenzie." I then looked over to the new girl, then look back at Kira as we filed into the classroom. As I got in the class I found my desk next to my friend Sarah. I sat down in my somewhat short chair and looked around for Sarah. I then saw sarah walk into the classroom, and she then came and sat next to me. I took off my backpack and placed it next to my desk. The teacher began to speak and I brought my attention to her. "Welcome back!!!" My name is Mrs. Condon, and I will be your fourth grade teacher for this year, she said.

Mrs.Condon showed us around the classroom and told us what our requirements are. She told us the rules and expectations and she went over and introduced the new kids.
