Elena wasn't considered 'normal' and she knew it. She didn't bother associating with other people because she thought they would learn all her secrets and see her as the freak. She didn't feel loved or love anyone. Anyone besides Harry. He kept her sane, yet with everything they'd already been through together she was scared to admit her strong feelings towards him because he was famous. Of course her heart said he wouldn't but her mind battled every day telling her not to tell her because he could exploit all her secrets. In her eyes harry had everything including the power to destroy her life. In his eyes he had all he needed: Elena. Harry was also scared to admit these strong feelings due to the fact that Elena had many issues their relationship would have to overcome. For five years she's been depressed and for a year now she had been schizophrenic. Her parents, who were very wealthy, sent her to many therapist and counseling sessions in hopes they could get their happy little girl back. Elena,who still lived with them despite graduating high school last year, saw this as an indirect way of her parents telling her they could not appreciate the person she was therefor she dropped them from her heart as she had done with everyone. Everyone but Harry. He was always there. Her whole life now depended on him. They had been together for nearly a year but with everything Elena endures will they last or will Elena find that even after this long their relationship will never really be realistic? Maybe she is just phased by love.
