Asa's P.o.v
I follow Jessica down the halls of the new unfamiliar building towards the cafeteria. I notice that she keeps her head down the whole walk. It kinda got awkward once I stopped to fully introduce myself, but I really didn't mind.
she keeps glancing up in front of her then quickly looks back down, Jessica also keeps pulling her sleeves of her hands, She looks small, vulnerable even. Who am I to judge i'm not very social either.
We then turn a corner to the cafeteria, to be honest this cafeteria looks like a football field compared to the one back in London. "um, You can sit with Allison And I" I snap my head up to the sound of jessica's Small voice.
"uh, yeah thanks"
I take a seat across from Jessica and Allison. From what I can see is that Allison is very perky and outgoing. But who knows i can be 100% wrong. "are you going to eat lunch?" Allison Asks me from her and Jessica's side of the lunch table "Uh no I'm fine you guys can get a lunch i'll just wait here." I answer.
With that the two girls leave to get their lunches. I look at the new faces of my new school, And everyone looks really tan As I look really pale.
when Jessica and Allison come back All three of us stay there silently , The two girls Eating their lunches and I dosing off thinking. I wonder what I'd Be doing If mum and and Dad hadn't split up ,nothing, that's what i'd be doing nothing just playing those video games that haven't been touched in over three months ,i'd be sneaking out at 2 a.m every day with my old mate Nat. I never really appreciated every thing I had until the my small but whole family was separated into two's. And i;m learning to not now, not ever take things for granted again.
I didn't notice I was starring at Jessica's hands until she pulled her sleeves oer her hands again. Maybe she always did that i don't know.
She looked up at me and her gaze met my own ,we starred at each other for a couple of seconds . I notice the color of there eyes are a darker shade of blue than my own her blonde hair fell loosely down past her shoulders she was pretty, but very mysterious.
I kinda liked that.
