Wry's POV
I was panting by the time I caught up to James. We were standing on a hill, surrounded by water. I grab him by the back of his shirt, yanking him back. "What the hell is your problem?!", I snap. He turns to face me, towering me. His face was twisted with anger as he snaps back, "He...Jeff was fucking FEEDING YOU!". I take a small step back, honestly a bit scared from his current state. "He didn't! He was trying to!", I defend. James got even angrier. "How about when you guys were talking about what YOU should wear?! Explain that!", he snarls. I take in a deep breath before calmly replying, "We were simply fooling around. Friends. There's nothing going on if you're wondering.". He grabs my shoulders, gripping them tightly. "Just friends, huh?! I wouldn't talk about what I should wear! I wouldn't let anyone feed me!", he growls. "Maybe I just have a different kind of friendship with everyone! Maybe my friendship isn't like yours!", I huff. That's when he crosses the line. "Why won't you give me the same attention?!". I got out of his grasp by then. I raise my hand and slap him with enough force to make his head turn the way my hand went. "I do! Why can't you see that?! Did you forget about our past?! About what we all did together?! About what I did for you?!", I cry. My hands were trembling. Strange, isn't it? James turns his head slowly towards me, his eyes threatening to spill tears. "Do...Do you love me?", he said, his voice cracking a little. I am a little bit hesitant about the answer this time. After a minute of silence, I reply in a small voice, "I don't know...". I leave right after, jogging back into the restaurant. The others stared at me with curiosity as I reach our table. "What happened?", Jeff asks, tilting his head to the right. "Nothing... he just needs to relax.", I respond, sitting down. We all chat about our next destination, maybe the streets. Where we can be hostile. Defend our territory. All of that. After 15 minutes, James walks back in with an expressionless face. He sits down and looks at me from the corner of his eye. I explain loudly to the table that I'll be buying the tickets, who wanted to come, and where we will be staying. James and Joey didn't want to go, so only John, Ash, Jeff, and I were going. At the end of the day, everyone was chill and having fun at the hotel room we were staying in. That's a good thing, right? What a way to spend the day...
