Chapter 1: First Day

"Jade get up , first day of school"

"Ugh! I'm up,I'm up shit!"

I sat there rummaging through my closet to find something , I spot something "Ahhh Haaa! I found you." I pick up my Slipknot tank top and a pair of distressed shorts,and put on my chucks.

I made my way down, and find my mom making eggs.

I sat and ate quietly.

"Soo Jade aren't you excited for your first day being a freshman?Awe my baby's growing up so fast." A tear falls from her cheek,"Ugh mom it's not like I'm moving to college." I roll my eyes.

"Jade?" I look up at her,the face of a serious mother."Yes mum?"

"Please be careful with guys at your school,you're one beautiful, unique girl. And I dont want any guy to tarnish your perfect heart." Her eyes look at me in worry.

"Mom dont worry, I'll be fine. " I give a kiss on her cheek, throwing my backpack over my shoulder,and grabbing my phone putting my headphones in.

As I walk down the street I blast Marilyn Manson and made my way to school.
I see kids that I knew from school, but I payed no attention to them it's not like they were nice to me anyways.

I sang along to The Nobodies

" Today im dirty , I want to be pretty, Tomorrow I know im dirt

fear the nobodies , wanna be somebodies, we're dead, we know just who we are"

Finally reaching the school I take my shit and put it in my locker in the 400 building. I leave and I find my friends Vic, Chris,and Victoria.

All I see is Vic and Chris tackling each other to the ground and I see Victoria laughing at them.

" GUYS!!!!!!" I raise my voice as I shake my head, what can I say I love them.

"JADEDO!!!" Chris and Vic yell run twords me and making me land flat on my ass.

"Ouch!!!!! you fucking assholes!" I say getting up.

I see Victoria and I give her a hug and sat down and talked, in till the time passed at the bell rang for 1st period.

I walked in and I see most kids I hate in science, great this will be along day. I say to myself rolling my eyes taking out my books.

As the day went by I got to 3rd period and sat by this kid, he seemed cool. He stretched his ears out and had snake bites, his strong arms showing, he was pretty attractive. Even though he wasn't the type I'd go for but something about him..

I sat there looking at the white board, but I couldn't seem to keep my focus. My mind keeps going back to the kid sitting right next to me.

"I want to know what he's like, his personality and his hobbies." I think to myself, but again why would he even want to talk to the weird girl?

I look at him and he senses me looking and he smiles at me. " Hi I'm Alex ,Alex Benson " he smiles and his braces show along with his cute dimples as he introduces himself.

"Hey I'm Jade Anderson "I say shyly.

"What grade are you in?" I say

" I'm a junior." He says laughing lightly.

"I'm a freshman." I say with a smile, he flashes a smile back at me, as the teacher catches us talking he gives both of us a Stern look.

He turns back facing the board. Then I feel him looking back at me. I slightly feel a blush rise from my cheeks. Now I cant concentrate in this class, being by him makes me have butterflies.

As the bell rang I gathered my stuff and headed to find Victoria and the crew. But I turn the corner and I see Alex hugging a the head caption of the Cheer team. Ughh why am I that naive, Alex wouldn't go for someone like me.

After lunch I make my way to my next classes. Trying my best to avoid Alex on my way there. Even though it wasn'ta big deal, in my head I made it to be a big deal. For some reason my day was kind of ruined?
The day went on uneventfuland made it to the end of the rest of my classes.

I make my way home, I blast my music, hoping for it to distract me all the way home. My house wasn't as far, but walking took me a while to get there.

And I see a Black Car pass me, but stops right by me.

I look up and I see Alex, I smile at him but started to walk.

"Hey! Jade!!! Wanna ride home? " he smiles. "Uhh..." I say slowly.

"I wont mind , I'm headed your way."

"Uhh okay thanks" Smiling as I open the car door.

I get in, and we talked about music, mainly. Some of his favorite artists and bands, nothing too in depth. And how I'm 16 almost 17 as a freshman, and how it's weird that we are almost the same age a such.

( ' It's a long story sorta..' )

Finally we get to my house, I get out and I turn to him "Thanks Alex. See you tomorrow." Saying shyly.

"It's no problem cutie, heres my number if you need anyone to talk to"

I'm smiling like a idiot taking it and headed to the front door to unlock it. I see him drive away.

Ughh this cant be real. I need a nap, this day was not as I expected it to go.
I get in the house and no one's here, so I go to my room and blast Linkin Park and fall asleep.

I wake up to my mom knocking at my door, I walk to the door and open it for my mother.

"How was school sweetheart?"

"It was good, finally reunited with my crew." Looking at her, my voice is raspy.

My mind goes back to Alex. fuck! I got it bad. I remember that he gave me his number and my face starts to heat up. I swiftly hide my emotions.

"Mom, I'm tired and it's 12 am , so I'm going to go back to sleep." I say walking twords my bed.

"Okay goodnight hun." As she walks out shutting the door.
