When Sub-Zero had arrived in Earthrealm he had ended up in Detroit. Soon after Kabal came around looking concerned. "Move out my way Outworlder!!" Sub-Zero yelled. Shortly after Sub-Zero attacked Kabal with a ice ball but Qun Chi came and K.O 'd him and portaled him away.
