Hallway of Nightmares

" Well, yeah I guess we are friends. " you say, looking back at her. She mumbles something and looks back at her game, closing her eye. You got up and sat down next to her, but she didn't seem to notice.
" That's a Game Slave 3, right? " you say. She just nods. You sat there awkwardly and tried to think of something to say to her, that might start up a conversation. You look up at the doorway, to see if Dib came back, but instead you saw Zim, speed walking into the hallway. 'Odd' Before you knew it, lunch was over.

Random Timeskip

You gathered up all your things and started walking to the door, so you could go home. You turned around and saw a bunch of kids running towards the door. Some kids fell over, and papers were everywhere. You pressed yourself against the wall, and held your bag closer to you. A few kids stepped on your feet and you got hit with a giant backpack. You lost your balance and fell over. Everything went blurry, as you braced yourself for impact. You yelped when you felt a sharp pain in your arm. Eventually all the kids left and you were left in the hallway with your head spinning. You slowly got up and dusted yourself off. You had a dark bruise on your arm, but other than that, you were fine. You grabbed your bag, and left. You saw Dib and Zim were both still outside and they were talking to each other.
" This information will be very useful in the future Dib stink. " Zim says. Dib opened his mouth to speak, but by then Zim had already left.
" Hey Dib, are you okay?" You say walking over to him.
" Oh uhh hey Y/n, and yes I'm fine, that sore throat I had went away eventually. " he said. " Oh and have you seen Gaz? I haven't seen her since lunch when I ......left. " he said looking over your shoulder, at the school.
" No I haven't seen her yet. Sorry. " you say.
" It's fine. Anyways I'll just-WOAH WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR ARM!" Dib says, looking down at your arm.
" I got trampled in the hallway. " you say.
" Does it hurt if I-" Dib grabs your arm, gently enough so it doesn't hurt. You shake your head. He lightly traced the bruise and eventually let go. He puts his hand behind his back. Gaz walks over to you and Dib, and stands there for a moment without saying anything, but she was smirking. You could feel your face heat up a little.
" Uhh I'll see you tomorrow Y/n." Dib says. Him and Gaz both start walking away. Dib turns around and waves at you. You wave back, and stand there for a moment, reflecting on everything that happened that day. You smile to yourself, and start walking home.
