One Lucky Night

Chapter 7

Scylla was in the lobby when Stella spotted her.

"You," Stella said and take a good look at her.

No wonder Zach did not forget her. Scylla is an angel, she is beautiful. She dressed simply but her beauty radiated making Stella jealous.

"Hi." Scylla greeted timidly.

"Why did you come back?" Stella asked.

Scylla stared at her, the woman found out about her.

"Why?" Stella asked sadly because she knew, she will be completely out of the picture now, out of Zach's life.

"Stella." Scylla didn't even know her, so far she was a brat earlier. She could hurt her, her own assumption.

"Why did you come back after five, long years?" Stella looked at Scylla.

"Stella, I think, I don't owe any explanation to you. I'm sorry but I don't know you." Scylla said.

"I am the woman who doesn't leave, the one who will stay for the person she loves even if.."

Even if she doesn't notice you. Scylla was staring at the broken woman. She is in love with Zach but he is not.

"I'm sorry," Scylla said. She was partly the reason for her pain.

Scylla was jealous of her. She was with him, she stays, opposite of what she did. It was unfair for her, she understands how she feels.

"I don't know Scylla. You seem good, you were far from what I have imagined of you." Stella admitted and continued.

"I guess you have a good and valid reason, five years ago. I just can't accept the fact that he didn't stop loving you. I waited in vain and this day had come, you came back and where I put myself now? I want to scream and slap you but how can I? When you are just like me."

"Stella."

"You still love him, do you? I wish you didn't leave him and I'm not in this situation right now." Stella said trying to fight back her tears.

"I'm sorry Stella." The only words she can say to her.

If only she was strong back then if only she can fight for their love. If only she has the power to break the barrier.

Too many ifs that she can't anymore change and so as Stella being hurt.

"I have only one wish, Scylla," Stella said making Scylla stand erect.

Will Stella wish her gone, completely? Can she do it for her when she just knows that Zach still loves her?

She sighed, anxious about her next words.

"Fight for him, this time. Fight for your love." Stella said and starting to walk away.

"Stella, wait!" Scylla called for her name.

It was the opposite of her thinking. She made the way, she gave up for the two people's possible happiness. Stella knew they still love each other and it's time for her to find her own. The one who will chase her, stick to her, the one who will love her for five years and beyond just like Zach to Scylla.

"Scylla, I mean it or else I will take him away from you." Her weak warning as she stepped out of the building, leaving Scylla pondering her words.

Stella is a good woman, a victim of unrequited love and she was sorry on Zach's behalf. She loves the wrong man, a man who is already committed to her long-gone lover.

Scylla wished for her happiness so soon.
