We were ushered out into the open where Cameras were greedily awaiting our faces, calling out for us in every direction, I had no idea where to look.

Noa was the main centre of attentions though because it was fairly rare for a twelve year old to be called but I had no shadow of a doubt that other had been called.

I studdied his face, he was emabarressed, I smiled and walked up to him, squeezing his hand encouragingly. He grinned up at me, not as embarressed as I thought then?

"Scarlett, Scarlett what does it feel like to know you might have to kill your Brother?" Asked a small plump Female reporter.

"Hell" I whispered solomley, my smile had completely faded.

She nodded, faking sympathy "I can only imagine what you're going through" Then she turned away, reporting back to the News stations she was from.

"Noa!" Yelled a tall Man who looked to be around thirty "What's your best skill?"

Everyone turned to Noa, and the place fell silent.

Noa smiled wryly "That would be telling."

This makes them go wild, shouting out everything, Noa really does know how to work a crowd, I'd never have guessed.

"Ok people times up, move out" Yelled the Peace-keeper I'd hit earlier, he frowned at me but said nothing, I guess the nicest thing they could do was keep me from the Games and torture me.

A massive groan went up and people slowly made their way to the exits, not wanting to cross the Peace-Keepers.

"Ok out" He growled, I did as he said, no point in going into the arena with an injury.

we were taken to the train-station, I gasped with pleasure when I saw the shiny red thing it was magnificent and the interior was even more amazing, it was all cream and very calming.

"Ah! There you are" Smiled Malia walking up to us, I'd forgotten about her.

"Hi" I said, biting my nails.

I looked up to see her frowning at me and stopped abruptly, smoothing my skirt.

"Well I'll leave you to get settled in and call you for Dinner, your rooms are down the hall, left for girls right for boys."  She stated, nodded and walked off.

I followed her directions and soon ended up in a large room and tried to close my mouth, it was, a luxuary I'd never dared to dream about, I walked into the interjoining room and found out it was a bathroom, with warm running water no less!

I quickly took off my clothes and jumped into the shower, ordering a gentle setting, as it began the smell of lavendar filled my nose, I smiled this was wonderful!

I stepped out into a warm fluffy towel and began to play with the little remote that controlled my drawers, I finally came across a super soft pair of three quater length trousers and a plain blue tee-shirt, letting my damp hair fall around my shoulders.

"DINNER!" I heard Malia shout down the hall.

I quickly slipped my feet into my old work shoes and hurried to the Dining-room.

Once there a smell so delecious it made my mouth water over-came my senses,  I quickly sat and started to shovel it in, I heard chuckles coming from our mentors side of the table and a very distinct "EUGH" coming from Malia's direction, I had to look up and grin at her.

"Hm, anyway I can see you're enjoying that Stew of yours but haven't you noticed some-ones not here" She frowned.

I looked around the table, then I noticed the empty seat opposite me, I'd assumed he'd got here before me and I'd been so envolved with my stew that I didn't even notice.

"I'll go find him" I whispered, getting up and taking a plate of food for him.

Helena, our Female mentor smiled at me sadly and offered to take to food for me.

I shook my head "I need to speak to him alone"

She nodded, understanding and sank back down next to Hirius, our Male mentor.

I quietly knocked on Noa's door before entering and there he was, hunched in a ball on his bed silently sobbing.

"I-I brought to some food" I whispered, placing the dish on the side and strolling over to sit next to him.

"Thank you" He murmered in small sobs.

I leant over and encased him in my arms "It's ok, I know how you feel"

he nodded and looked up at me, a new flow of tears threatened to escape but I side-stepped the problem for the moment.

"Lets get you showered" I said, lifting him up - he was almost as light as one of the twins - and carried him to the Bathroom, placing him in the shower and placing it on the same setting as mine.

I saw his face light up momentarely at the warm water splashing on his back, like mine had done but it slowly faded back to the gloomy expression he had warn earlier.

I then dried him and dressed him in a warm pair of Pajamas, put him to bed and snuggled up next to him, I doubted he would get to sleep on his own whereas I was so tired.

But I realised as I closed my eyes, I wasn't going to sleep, everything I'd managed to keep out of my mind today came flooding back, how to save Noa I have to die, but in a way it was kind of comforting to know that atleast I knew when I was going to die and I could prepare for it, but I had to make sure to stay alive long enough to give Noa a chance at surviving.
