Gaunt To Malfoy (Sequel To the Good Girl Turns Bad)

Chapter 3

Skyla POV

I stood there paralyzed I couldn't believe my ears, why does this have to happen to someone as sweet and caring as El? she doesn't deserve this. It was getting late and no-one wanted to leave her side so we all stayed the night at the hospital by her side. If anything was to happen to her I don't think i would be able to live.

Draco walked up to me and hugged me from behind

"You know whatever happens you won't be alone everyone here loves her and will feel the same, come on lets get some sleep it isn't doing you any good staying awake waiting for more news"

"I know, I'm very thankful I have you, I love you"

"I love you too, now lets sleep it's already 3am" 

I woke up at about 6 in the morning i just couldn't sleep knowing that El could be suffering, I sat by her bed and held her hand. 

"Hi El it's me, I know you probably can't hear me but if you can please hear this everyone here loves you and wants you to recover, but we all understand if you need to go. You must be in a lot of pain and it might be too painful to live so we do understand" 

In the midst of my speech I hadn't realised that Xander had pulled up a chair beside me 

" That s beautiful Sky, I just really hope she pulls through this though, I don't think that I can live without her"

" I don't think anyone can but if it comes to it we will have to, we should probably go back to sleep if we don't we will be sat here worrying of what could happen" 

"You are right, goodnight Sky" 

" Goodnight Xander"

 I walked back to Draco and cuddled up next to him, I was so tired I drifted back off within minutes. 

Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep 

That is the first thing I heard when I work up El's machine, I shot up and ran to the door 

"I need help, someone help me please" 

The nurses and doctors rushed into the room and by this time everyone was awake and had worried expressions on their faces. We all got ushered out of the room while the doctors rushed to El's side. 

It had been 10 minutes and we heard nothing from them, suddenly the doors were pushed open and they all looking at the ground with sad look on their faces. One of the doctors stepped forward to tell us the news.

"I'm really sorry to tell you this but Elena Riddle passed away at 8.34 this morning" 

I just couldn't handle it I broke down in tears and gripped hold of Draco and pulled him down to the floor with me. 

" I can't believe she is gone" 

"I know it is going to hurt at first but it will get better and she will never be forgotten everyone in this room and many more will remember her for the rest of their lives. You still have all of your amazing memories together so hold on to them and it will be like she has never left she is sill in your mind.
