God, this song means so much to me. All of Melanie's songs mean a lot to me actually. I can relate to Soap so much it's scary. I feel as thought words just spill out of my mouth in huge blurbs when speaking to loved ones, or even somebody I am interested in. Whenever I've had a relationship in the past, I end up fucking it up basically . When I feel an emotion, I often blurt it out. Whether it's "I love you" or "I really like you" or even "I hate you." My mouth works before my brain and my thoughts just come full speed. So you could just imagine the absolute horror on my last boyfriend's face when I told him I loved him within about a month of dating haha. I wanted more than anything at that moment to take those three words back. Also, in my other relationship , before that one with the whole love fiasco, I also fucked that one up. Him and I were in a heated argument and hateful words just spilled out from my mouth and latched onto him. God, I was so mad. The argument was so stupid too. It was pointless. I was about to drop it until he said something about my father's absence. I lost my cool and started firing insult after insult without even thinking about how bad this would actually hurt him. I guess you could say I'm kinda sorta pretty emotionally unstable. So needless to say, after that we broke up. My bluntness has gotten me into some pretty ugly situations that I'll have to tell you guys another time.
