Light Yagami's POV (Point of View)
A faint voice was the first thing I heard upon coming back into consciousness -Ryuk's voice, no doubt.
Since my discovery of the Death Note and first encounter with the God of Death, the Shinigami has spent his days -and to my loathing- nights quizzing me about the Human world with the curiosity of a child trying to figure out how Santa delivers toys all around the world in one night.
It was fine at first, in all honesty it was very amusing to watch Ryuk try to figure out why water fell from the sky or how a cup full of water would magically empty after being left out on a hot day.
But as time passed and the nights of Kira's judgement lengthened while Light Yagami's time to sleep diminished. My patience with the Shinigami quickly evaporated into thin air.
Instead of answering his foolish questions I would typically respond with "Not now" in an attempt to swat him like a pesky fly or pretend to sleep in hopes of Ryuk giving up and leaving me alone.
