It's midnight and it's raining
I'm standing outside.
Smoking and drinking my black coffee
I can't stop looking at the sky.
Everything seems quiet,
Beside the storm in my mind.
Everything seems peaceful,
Aside the tears in my eyes.
I taste blood on my tongue,
And sorrow in my throat,
I taste your lips on mine,
To bad I'm now on my own...It's early in the morning,
So early the Stars and Moon still shine.
I cannot find peace in sleeping
Just in my cigarette and in the sky.
My once sweet dreams are now deranged
Keeping me tired, awake,
Wondering the forest, waiting for the Sun,
The one star I hate, but I can't live without...Now you see? You were my Sun,
My Moon, my Stars, the sky above.
You were the light,
The rose that grew inside my heart.
But now, you're gone.Now, it's evening
The clounds are clogging up the sky
Without letting the Sun shine,
They are clogging my own mind.
So I'm laying on the ground
Cold and silent like a stone.
Waiting patient for a rainbow.
