"167 days. That's how long the storm has been going. That's how long this experiment has gone. That's my least favorite number as by right now." Hours sighed.

"Oh, honey...." Mrs. June comforted Hours. Mrs. June has been taking care of Hours since the storm begun, in the apartment building #5. The only other family she knows that lives here, is the Wednesdays, yeah yeah, haha lol the Wednesdays, I get it. But no, seriously their last name is actually Wednesday.

Hours, however was not actually related to Mrs. June, Mrs. June was her tutor. Now she's pretty much Hours's mom.  Hours left her family on the first day of the storm to go to her tutoring place. At this point they thought it was just an  ordinary rainstorm, they were wrong.

167 days later and that rainstorm was still going. She had nothing but music and good ol' electronics to keep her going. She LOVED reading online so she browsed an app called Wattpad for some books and accidentally pressed a button.

New story. Huh? What's this some
weird glitch? Ok, well lets see. Title? Title title title. What should I choose. She typed exactly what she was thinking. Some blog or whatever. Aha. Description, hmmmmm..... whatever. I'm a girl who lives in a world where it rains. Perfect.

Hi, or whatever!

I'm Hours, weird name right? Wrong. Jk it is a weird name, but it's my weird name. It also belong
s to a pretty weird girl.

I just found this writing option so I'm just gonna write blogs, don't expect weekly updates or anything because trust me I'm a slacker, but yey. Well, it's raining outside rn, and it'll probably be raining for a while, don't even ask me why ok, it's sad. I don't have much to write about right now, so let me write about something that happened pretty recently.

Ok so every week we get food rations because we can't go out to buy food due to the acid constantly raining down outside, so people protected with special suits grow the food and bring it to us. The economy pretty much fell as soon as the rain started so instead of paying those people, we select people from the building to work at the greenhouse factory where we grow and store food. So anyways, I recently turned 15 (like 6 month ago lol) So I can technically  go and do this job, but I haven't up until this point.

Usually you would be assigned this job and be able to take a partner, but since I'm an antisocial little crap I decided I didn't need a partner. So I went to the greenhouse ( How we got there wasn't really important all you really need to know is that we took a van.) We picked up some people from other apartment buildings too, and so we were on our way.

The first person that really caught my eye was a shorter boy (or girl, never assume) That had their back turned on me the whole trip, I mean obviously, they were up front and I was in the  back, so I don't really mind it. So all I knew at this point was that they were really pale and had SUPER blond hair, like almost white, but it hand a hint of blonde. Ok. They had a beautiful red undertone to their skin and OML they're just so PERFECT!!!!

Once we got to the factory I kept a close eye on this specific person.

Through the grapevine, I heard their name was Jacqueline. THAT'S SO FRIKIN PERFECT!!!!! Then, my excitement rapidly started to fade as I realized  Jacqueline is a girl's name.

So this wouldn't usually be an issue except for the three MILLION things going through my head at this point.

1. Mrs. June isn't really tolerant and neither is my apartment building, so even getting away with this would be like doing some top secret !%$^.
