MADDISON
I was simply soaring through the air when I felt my calling, the urge to protect. I follow the feeling, it getting stronger as I head towards an all too familiar path and it lead me right to Beacon Hills. It was around midnight and I fly to the same forest I always go to and crouch on a high branch and hearing people coming.
"Scott it is midnight and we are walking in the forest, what are we doing?"
"We only can contact Maddison here. It's the only way we can-"
"Scott! She's in Rome! She won't hear your roa-"
"Unless I'm above you eavesdropping." I say and jump to the bottom, scaring both of them
"You- Anyways, we have sort of a problem." Scott says and I nod and cross my arms
"You already know how I work."
"That's the thing, it's ancient. You're the only ancient being I can think of at the moment." Scott says and I nod
"Alright, just give me the details tomorrow about whatever is going on and I'll think of something." I say and Scott nods
"Liam has practice for Lacrosse tomorrow after school, maybe we can meet?" Stiles asks and I nod
"Sounds good to me."

We get to the school and go to the field and saw Liam and another kid going at it. I jog onto the field and push Liam back, getting in front of the boy who was extremely tall.The boy puts the stick thing behind his head as I push Liam back, gripping his shirt.
"Liam chill out." I say firmly and he start to growl. I grab his face and made him look from the boy to me. I made my eyes glow and stared him in the face.
"Calm. Down." I say and he nods and I let go.
"Get your things, what's wrong?" I ask and the Coach calls my name and I look over towards him
"nice to see you back here!"
"Quit acting like I was your best student!" I call and I wrap my arm around Liam's shoulder and we both went to Stiles and Scott who were now in the parking lot.
"Who was that?"
"His name is Brett, we've been budding heads for a while now." Liam says and I nod
"Alright, anyways, glad to see me?"
"No."
"Good."
"Something happened didn't it?"
"You know it, or I would never have come back here." I say and we get to the two boys and Liam puts his bag down
"Got in trouble by Mads I see." Scott laughs and Liam rolls his eyes
"Anyways, Liam you notice anything around the town?"
"No, but there has been a saying that something is coming."
"Like what?" Stiles asks
"Rise of the dead or the come back of the forgotten?" Liam says questioningly and I nod
"Do you guys have anyone that could possibly come back?" I ask, looking at Scott and Stiles
"Quite a few." Scott says and I nod
"Hey, you dropped this." The boy from the field calls and we turn around and he jogs up to me and hands me a set of keys.
"Thank you, person?"
"Brett." He says holding his hand out and I shake it.
"Hey Stilinski and McCall." Brett smirks and I raise a brow
"Goodbye Brett, she's taken." Stiles says and Brett chuckles
"I haven't said a word to her about going out with me. I'm just returning some keys." Brett says and I look at him.
"Wolf...you're a wolf." I say and Brett looks at me
"Yeah."
"Interesting." I say and felt my phone ring. I smile when I saw that it was Boyce.
"Hey Boyce." I smile and walk off from the group.
"Mads where are you?"
"Beacon hills."
"That old town?"
"Where I went for my senior year? Yes." I say and he groans.
"Geez girl! Now I have to leave this beautiful place for there."
"Sorry bud." I smile and start walking back
"Be glad I love you partner."
"Love you too bro, see ya when you get here so you can meet my boyfriend finally."
"Oh goodie, note the sarcasm."
"He's human so he can be a little sensitive." I tease
"Hey! I can hear you!" Stiles whines and everyone laughs
"Be there in a couple of hours."
"Bye Mr. Rockwall."
"Bye!" I hang up and put my phone in my pocket and sit on my car.
"Who was that?" Liam asks
"My partner." I say and everyone looks at me
"You? The lone 'wolf'?" Scott jokes and I smile
"I can't be in two places at once and I only have two eyes and heat thermal." I say and Stiles stands by me
"Who's this guy I have to beat?"
"He's a bat. You know, like the one that threw you into the tree and knocked you out except he's alive and has more power." I say and Stiles walks back over by Scott and I laugh
"Whatever." Stiles says
"Why don't you guys just meet my whole crew." I say and sent my friends a text an got quick replies and I slide off my car.
"Alright, nice to meet you Brett but I need to go find a hotel to stay at."
"Or we can just go to your mom's house?" Scott asks and I look at him
"I'll take a- Nahh, I miss her, I'll give her a surprise visit. Let's go, Liam you coming or not?" I ask and Liam went straight to my car.
"My car isn't that bad!" Stiles says and we all gave him a look.
"It's time to get a new car Sti-"
"How dare you say that about-"
"Nobody cares, love you boo! Alright let's go." I smile and blew a kiss to him and we all got in the cars and headed to my mom's house. Let's see how this goes.
