So we started walking down the street and I just couldn't believe my Mom lied to me I grew up alone with not one friend. She made me think that my Dad just up and let us for a job. "Hello Katherine did you hear anything that I just said?" "No I was thinking. But what did you say?" "I said that it's just a few more blocks up so you don't think that we're walking all that far." "OK cool." As we we're walking that boy that thought I was Katerra was walking pass with his friend.
His friend was yelling from where he was standing. "Dang Katerra you keep the twin Secret to yourself huh." She kept walking. "I told you idiots I had a sister no I didn't say she was a twin. But if you cleaned your ears once in a while you low-life jerk maybe you'll be able to hear me better. BTW this is my twin sister Katherine."
She grabbed my hand and started to walk faster. then within like 5 minutes we were at this big nice house. "Wait you live here? What does he do for a living? Mom is just a Secretary and we move from place to place." "Well he kinda owns his own company." So we missed out on this for 13 years of my life. "Are you ready to meet your father." "No please don't do that your making it seem like one of those shows where the foster kid is meeting their real parent(s)." "OK let's go inside then but make sure that you take your shoes off."
"Oh my gosh you have to do that to?" "Sadly yes now let's go inside because I'm suppose to be going to a party tonight and I need to get ready I don't wanna be late." "OK let's go inside then." I have to admit I am a bit scared at what his reaction might be.
We walked in and took of our shoes. "Just wait here for a moment. Dad! you have a very special guess who wants to meet you." "OK well tell who ever it is to come on in I don't bite." She gestured for me to come to the kitchen. "So who is this mystery person." He said cutting up some bell peppers. My eyes started to water because I haven't seen my Dad in so many years." "Dad say hello to Katherine." He quickly looked up and in shock he dropped the knife.
"Hey Dad." He ran over to me and gave me a big hug. "Look at you you've gotten so big. Wait how did you get here does your Mom know your here." "Actually she does we just moved in down the street. She was a little skeptical at first but she had no choice once I gave her the puppy dog eyes." You girls and those puppy eyes. Are you going to the party with Katerra tonight."
He was walking back over to the counter and picking up the knife. I looked at Katerra and she shrugged her shoulders. "I guess so." He looked up and smiled at me "Did your mother approve?" "I told her I was staying over. Well I think I did?" "Call her and make sure you can stay you know how disapproving she is." "OK. I will." We walked up to Katerra's room(which was much bigger than mine) and sat on the bed. "So are you gonna call her now?" Katerra said walking to the closet. "Oh yeah." I pulled out my phone and called my Mom.

"Hello." "Mom can I stay over Dad's house tonight?" "No you can not." "What? Why not?" "Because I told Nick you were going to be at dinner with us tonight." "I don't like Nick. He creeps me out so what in the world makes you think that I wanna sit at a table and stare at him all night." "Why didn't you tell me this before?" "I did but, you said just give him a chance sweetheart he's not all that bad once you get to know him. I don't wanna get to know him as a matter of fact I don't wanna know him at all." "Well then I guess you can stay over there tonight since he's coming over for dinner. But you come home tomorrow got it?" "Yeah ok bye." "Bye be save." "I will."

Be save? Be save from what? "So what did she say?" She said a whole bunch of unnecessary crap that just pissed me off. "She said I could stay." "Great what size do you wear a 6?" "Yep." "I have the perfect outfits for you to choose from. I chose the outfit with the red pants it was cute that they all have bow ties because I love bow ties. We were walking down the stairs and Dad kissed us on the cheek and told us to have a good time but don't go over board. We said ok and left out the door. Katerra told me to wait here while she pulled the car out the garage.
My jaw dropped when she honked the horn at me. It was a beutiful green camaro sitting in the driveway. "Are you gonna look at the car all night or are you gonna hop in." I ran around to the passenger seat and got in. "This is awesome." "You know what time it is right Katherine?" "Party time?" "Party time!" This is going to be the best night ever!
