The house was extremely quiet. Too quiet

I was under the soft blankets. Enjoying the warmth.

I fell asleep after consuming the tasty cake. Someone had came in and collected everything before I woke up.

I rubbed my eyes. I was still a bit tired.

I had no idea what time it was. It felt like it had been years since I've been back at home, but in reality it had only been a week or so.

I took all the strength I had and tried to stand up.

My feet were sore. Very sore.

There's no escape to this place.

It was endless. If I were to walk forever I would just come right back to the mansion.

I took one step and groaned softly

Every time my feet hit the cold ground a stinging pain hit me

I stayed strong and tried not to limp.

I made my way to the door.

My hand went to the door knob. The tips of my finger touched the metal, but I was hesitant.

Should I be going outside? Am I allowed?

Nonsense... if I'm gonna live here I should be allow human rights atleast.

I had given up.

My body and my heart had given up.

I accepted my fate. I accepted the fact that I was going to stay here forever.

I opened the door and peeked my head out.

My eyes searched around. Looking for anyone.

Nobody.

I sighed.

I went outside and shut the door behind me.

Where is the nearest window?

I looked around. Oh there!

The sky outside was dark. Stars shimmered in the night. The moon was also out.... a full moon

Is it 10pm? Or maybe 4 am..?

Sheesh where's the clocks around here.

I slowly walked to the nearest room and opened the door.

Empty.

I went downstairs.

The lights were still on but there was nobody.

Until I heard people chattering super quiet nearby.

I looked around. Where could they be?

They sound like....

They're......
