A night to remember

I Promise

~~Elton looked at me with wide eyes. I nodded.

I handed him  the test and he looked at it confused.

Elton: "Does this mean....?"

Me: "Yes...I'm pregnant." He gave me a hug.

Elton: "I know I don't know you very well, but I will help you through this."

Me: "Thank you. That means a lot. I don't know if I should tell him yet. Should I wait till after this trip. I don't want to ruin anything."

Nurse: "It would be smart to tell him so he's aware of the situation. But it might be too early to tell if its true. Keep the other three and take them periodically through the week. If they keep showing up positive then there is your answer. It could be a false positive." I nod and take the box. Elton pays for my checkup and Colby's stitches. I hide the tests in my jacket pocket so no one sees.

Colby: "What took you so long. I was worried you might have been really sick or something."

Me: "I'm fine." He inspects my body and gives me a hug.

Colby: "Thank god." He squeezes tightly. I felt bad for keeping it from him but I didn't want him to know until I knew for sure.

~1 week later~

The week went by and I was in fact pregnant. I even got Elton to buy me a couple more just in case it was a bad box. I was so grateful that Elton was by my side through the whole thing. But it was raising suspicion from everyone because me and Elton were spending so much time together. He would always make sure I was okay whenever we did a crazy stunt or something. Colby was obviously keeping an eye on us, he didn't look very happy about Elton getting so close to me.

Me and Elton were sitting outside on the curb while everyone was sleeping

Me: "I'm going to tell him when he wakes up. I don't know how but I think I should now. He seems really annoyed about us hanging out so much."

Elton: "I know.. I think you should wait, but its not my decision, you can tell him because its his child too." He smiles.

Me: "Okay...Yeah ill do it. Ill explain to him why you were there and why we have been around each other so often." He nods and wraps his arm around me to give me a hug. Colby walks out of the RV to him doing this and he flips out.

Colby: "What the actual fuck is going on? I knew it. I cant believe this!"

Me: "Colby its not what it looks like!" I shot up.

Colby: "Are you sure? Because I'm pretty sure I just saw you and Elton cuddling!"

Elton: "We weren't dude!"

Sam was on a live on Instagram when he heard all the commotion and he came outside to check it out.  Corey followed because he woke up from all the noise.

Sam: "Whats going on?" He said with his phone in his hand.

Colby: "Ill tell you what happened, Elton had his armed wrapped around Alyssa." He said pointing at Elton.

Corey: "Woah Elton, you know Alyssa is off limits."

Sam: "Yeah bro what were you thinking? that's messed up." Sam put his phone to his side, forgetting that his live was still on.

Colby: "I just cant believe you would do that bro. Alyssa why him? Of all people you could've at least gone with Corey." He says angrily.

Corey: "Why thank you." He smirks.

Elton: "Colby, Just let her explain."

Colby: "Why don't you explain? Sam hold me back or else I'm going to swing!" Sam throws his phone in his pocket and him and Corey grab Colby's arms to prevent him from swinging. Elton stood there silently.

Colby: "Are you going to say anything Elton? Huh? Or are you afraid because you know I caught you sneaking around with my girl." He says with fire in his eyes.

Elton: "I'm not scared because we weren't sneaking around." At that point every starts yelling at each other and Colby is preparing to fight Elton.

Colby: "FIGHT ME ELTON! DO IT! FIGH--"

Me: "IM PREGNANT!" I had enough of everyone. I yelled this at the top of my lungs to the point where everyone was completely silent.

Colby: "What..what did you just say?" He looked confused but calmer.

Me: "I'm pregnant Colby. Elton knew. That's why he was with me so much, that's why he made sure I was okay and why he had his arm around me. He was comforting me because I told him I was going to tell you. This is not how I wanted to tell you." I start to tear up. He runs to me and hugs me. I start to ball my eyes out and you can tell he starts to cry too.

Colby: "When did you find out, how did you figure it out?" He said pushing from the hug looking into my eyes.

Me: "When you went to get your stitches, a nurse came to me and asked me a bunch of questions and she gave me a box of pregnancy tests to take. Elton accidentally found out, I was walking out of the room with the box in my hand to go take one when he came to get me to leave. He was there for me to comfort me before I told you. And now you know." He looked at me and smiled. He wiped the tears off my cheek.

Colby: "We can get through this, I don't know how but we will. I promise, I will be here for you when you need me to be. I promise." I smiled.

Those words echoed through my head. 'I Promise'. The way he acted towards Elton just showed me how much he cared about me. He showed me he would do anything for me. He cared. He promised.
