Ch.15: The Note

I woke up at 3 in the afternoon. I wanted to stay in the blanket longer with Jungkook.

I got up and found Jungkook nowhere.

"Where did he go?"
I muttered under my breath.

I looked towards my clock and was shocked that I missed most of work.

"If only Jungkook had woken me up."
I spoke under my breath.

I got up from the bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
I headed to my drawer and got out one of the clothes Jungkook bought me yesterday.
 
I saw a note on the desk.

Darling, I'm sorry to leave you alone but I had some urgent work to do. It is very important for me to fulfil this task otherwise, it could potentially risk my life. Hope you understand. Kookie<3

Risk his life? What does he mean?

I started getting worried sick about him. But at least he is doing the task now right? So he won't be in danger.

I shook off the worry from my head and changed into a bright blue dress with blue sandals. I put on the locket that Jungkook gave me and the one that Taehyung gave me.

He is still my best friend, right?

I lock the door with the keys and head to Jungkook's car.

He left his phone.. aishhh..

Who set the task to him? Why would Jungkook's life be in danger?

I went on his phone but it had a password on it.

Hmm.. his birthday?

I typed in the numbers 010997.
Weirdly, the phone unlocked.

I went on his call history and saw Taehyung's number a couple of times and someone called Sunmi.

Who is Sunmi?

I shook it off and headed to work.
